“Pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

I would stay here again.
Overall great location and nice room. The only thing's i didn't like is our toilet ran for quite a while after flushing and you had to jiggle the handle to make it stop and at night the mini fridge was kind of loud. The fridge probably would have been fine if it was somewhere else in the room and not right beside the bed.

A group of 12 of us stayed here for an 11-night skiing holiday. The rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable with openable windows. The room was supplied with a coffee maker, kettle, iron & ironing board, although short of storage space and a bedside cabinet. There was some noise from rowdy people, but it was very occasional. The ski locker is great, although very tight if several people were trying to get skis out at the same time. The complimentary breakfasts were good and plentiful, but would benefit from a little more variation, if possible. There's small spa/fitness area that several of the group put to good use. The location is unbeatable, handy for all downtown Banff and the ski buses that stop at the rear of the Mount Royal, and the Banff Park Lodge, only a few minutes walk. The staff were available & very friendly.

Check in was efficient. Asked for a quieter room and got one. Room and bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast was decent. Fresh fruit salad. It is included in the price of the hotel. Convenient location and underground indoor parking was nice, but there was a minimal charge. The parking spots were tight though. The WIFI was still spotty reception (free though). Our second trip to this hotel and would recommend.

We have skiing in Banff for over 15 years and this was the first time we had stayed at Brewsters and have we been missing out. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Even though it is right downtown we didn't hear much noise of the two-legged variety of wildlife that some others have posted on this site. Its not a five star hotel but it does offer good value for your dollar and its nice to park the car and just walk to restaurants and shops. Try doing that in Canmore or up on Tunnel Mountain.

Super friendly front desk staff; told us about town's winter activities. Great price! Comfy bed; clean room; great decor; couldn't ask for better. Centrally located just off main street. We parked our car safely at the hotel; underground parking space and walked downtown to have a lovely time with no parking worries. Breakfast was included in our stay; appreciated this tasty add on. Went skiing at Mt Norquay using town shuttle bus and came back to a well-deserved good night's sleep. Would recommend this hotel to all.

As a group of 6 Adults who have been skiing together for over 30 years we looked forward to our first skiing trip to Canada. We booked this Hotel for its central location, its smaller size (77 rooms) and its 'western look'. The rooms were more than adequate, well equipped with coffee machine, kettle, iron and board and hairdryer. Two queen size beds which were comfortable and gave a good nights sleep.
Contental breakfast included, a little limited, but still with some choice, and was more than adequate for setting you up for the morning.
We were on the front of the hotel, and although could be a bit noisey with the club over the road, we found that following a full days skiing this did not keep us awake at night.
What was impressive was the extremely helpful and friendly reception staff, it seemed that whatever we asked was done quickly efficiently and with a friendly smile and they could not have been more helpful. They helped with advice on Dog Sledding and sights worth visiting etc. We all felt happy, and that our holiday was important to them. We would all recommend this hotel and would certainly use this Hotel again. The free Wifi was useful too!!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back away from the main road would probably be a little quieter.

We stayed here for 10 days, 3 adults & 3 kids, we came here for ski-ing, & the reception staff were wonderful advising us of the best places to ski, exscursions, etc.It is located in centre of everything you need, plenty of restuarants, bars ski hire & shuttle bus to ski resorts located a few minutes walk away. It was one of our best holidays ever made even more enjoyable by the ever so helpful staff at Brewsters. there isnt anything negative i could say about this place. I shall be coming back as the whole family loved it. Recommended Dog sleddging & the Black wolf photography experience, made our vacation even more fantastic. Also breakfast was great & free wifi fab, Thanks ever so much to all at Brewsters Mountain Lodge, lovely hotel.
