I have to say that after reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried before I travelled - but I must say I only have good things to say about Brewsters mountain lodge.
We arrived for a 10 day Ski holiday on March 26th and had a fabulous time.
Our room was spacious and clean, more than enough room for us (3 adults) and as far as I am aware we had a standard room.
I'm not sure what everyone expects for a breakfast, but we all found the continental breakfast plenty to keep us going right through till lunch. The cereal and pastries were topped up whenever low and you could help yourself to anything. There was also fresh fruit, yogurt and toast and a selection of teas and coffee to be had.
The staff were great and very helpful, if you want to know where to go for something they are only too happy to hand out maps or give directions.
Best of all is the hotel location. It's just off Banff Av, and literally a 2 second walk to all the bars and resteraunts and shops. But because it's just off Banff Av, it's pretty quiet. Mayby that's because we were there skiing and everyone was so wiped by bedtime!
We have already decided that we are going back next year and will definately be staying at the Brewsters mountain lodge. One of my best holidays ever.

My husband and I stayed 14 - 26 March 2008 for a skiing/boarding holiday. We booked a delux jacuzzi room and it was gorgeous. Very spacious and clean with a large jacuzzi, seperate shower/toilet, queen size four poster bed and small sitting area.
Our room was cleaned daily, all the staff were friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast was nice with fresh fruit salad as an option every day, also fresh pastries, buns etc.
The lodge is very convenient for Banff centre (its right in it) and only a 2 minute walk to catch the ski bus.
We would definately recommend Brewsters and will definately be back.

I met my daughter in Calgary and traveled to Banff January 31, 2008. We selected our hotel via the internet and when we arrived the Lodge surpassed our expectations! The rooms were not only spacious, but very comfortably decorated. We stayed there for five days and each day, the housekeeping staff saw to it that our room was cleaned and if we needed anything they saw to it that we got it. The front desk went out of their way to make sure that we were informed of where to dine, what to see, and answered all of our questions promptly. The lobby was always a warm and welcomed sight with the fireplace burning, and space to sit and relax after a long day out. The complimentary breakfast was very filling, food was tasty and the atmosphere was always upbeat with other happy visitors. We would highly recommend Brewsters Mountain Lodge to anyone wishing to stay at a Luxury class Lodge with an outstanding staff, you will not regret it!

Was quite surprised after reading so many bad reviews how good the Brewster’s Mountain Lodge was.

We had booked two standard rooms as such, the one me and my friend occupied (room 302) had two queen size beds, sofa and table with two chairs plus other usual hotel room furnishings, best of all a balcony which was not expected as usually only available on the deluxe rooms as far as I am aware.

The room was always cleaned efficiently each day the only defect with the room being the TV remote did not work (as we didn’t go to Canada to watch TV this was no problem)

The breakfast is toast, cereals, pastries, coffee and juices which is what expected and what we got, everything in the breakfast room was restocked quickly. The lobby is welcoming and warm with nice log fire burning throughout the day with a nice cabin lodge smell.

The location is great having everything required around the corner within 5 min walk, the same with the bus to slopes. I would book with the Brewster’s again when returning to Banff.

Fun was had by all four of us who attended this February snow and slopes were great.
