What can I say? My husband and I went to Canada at the beginning of the month to get married at Lake Louise. We made Banff and the Caribou Lodge our base and we're so glad we did. The hotel was lovely, the staff incredibly polite, friendly and helpful and the restaurant was great. Every night we said we'd eat somwhere different and every night we stayed in the hotel! It was that good. The breakfast was really good too. The spa pool is so big you could fit loads of people in it and it was wonderful first thing in the morning and at the end of the day for tired legs! We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We can't wait to go back next year.

Having read the reviews on Trip advisor we stayed at the Caribou Lodge for 2 weeks over Easter, we were not disappointed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, with any requests dealt with immediately. The rooms although a little short on storage space, were very clean and the beds very comfortable The breakfast at the Keg was a welcome start to the day, The Spa a welcome end to the day!!
The bus service into Banff town stopped outside and was very regular and reliable. The town was only a short 15 min walk away and had a good selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
I would recommend this hotel and hope to visit again next year.

Just returned from a stay in Banff at the Caribou Lodge Resort and Spa. This is a wonderful hotel in a great location far enough from the hustle and bustle of Banff, but close enough to enjoy a peaceful 10 minute walk. The minute you walk in the lobby, you know that they pay attention to detail. Tremendous fresh floral arrangements are located throughout and the huge fireplace is the focal point that adds warmth and a feeling of coziness. We were greeted by very friendly staff and they explained all the amentities and perks of the hotel. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was large and the locally made soap they provided was an extra touch! The beds were exceptionally comfortable after a day of hiking. The Red Earth spa hosts a great hot tub that is large and relaxing. They provide ample bath towels in both the room and near the hot tub. Easy under-ground parking was a plus! The whole experience was pleasant and comfortable. We walked into several area hotels to check out the atmosphere and I thought that the Caribou had one of the most handsome presentations!

A nice place to stay for a few days.Comfortable and clean.10 minute walk from town centre.
