“Loved the old fashioned type fireplace”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The cabin had a nice touch
to it. Loved the old fashioned type fireplace.A map of the property would
be fantastic in order to locate the cabin and entrance to the trail. Food
in the restaurant was also great and decently priced. The location
allowed us to visit the nearby sites without having to drive too far.

It was nice to thank Johnston Canyon for their help and great service and kindness to us.
As we had a long trip to recover from we were glad the cabin was colourful and nicely
maintained. The food in the restaurant was fine too. They also had a fall special on
in the gift shop that gave us at least 30% off depending on which card one picked.
A bit different but was fun. The weather was pretty good too.

Lovely option. Great beds for comfort. The sliding windows are classic and interesting.
The check in procedures were efficient and thorough. It was interesting to observe the change in weather as it appears it can change quickly.. but the weather was pretty good and the surroundings are a nice getaway if you want to get into the nature. They
have a good trail to neat falls. Could have used a bit more cushion on the chairs for reading outside. It was our vacation away from home.

We did not see anything that would improve our stay. It
was a wonderful rustic mountain experience. All staff... nice
smiles, very friendly. It was very comfy, nice fireplace,
quaint and cozy. There was firewood that did not
cost us anything so that was good. The front desk staff were prompt
and friendly, no complaints ,, The restaurant and giftshop are very
close so it allowed us to get an early start without
having to travel very far.  overall a pleasant experience.

The service was very pleasant and the prices reasonable
for the area. The  cabin we had was very nicely located. It was
the Classic Pilot Bungalow with vaulted ceilings. It would
be lovely to have an extra set of pillows and blankets.
Other than that it was all very nice and cool to
see the Pilot mountain. It looks a bit like the Matterhorn.
Also on a clear night the stars are very clear and one
is able to see constellations well. Would recommend.

Lovely lighting not the usual dim stuff.
The location is very central and allowed us easy access to
Banff and Lake Louise and all the staff.... very friendly.
I could have used an extra pillow and we may suggest
instructions on getting the refrigeration to get cooler. Our
cabin was also in a good location in the resort. Quiet
and peaceful.

It was a lovely stay. Less rain would
be the only thing that would have made it better
but we were not there very long. The weather
we understand is generally very good and sunny.
It is nice to have so much daylight too. Our cabin location
was very convenient to all the major sights in the area.
Would like to return soon. It was a nice change too.
