We had a double cabin with loft, which offered 3 queen beds in total, which was a good solution for us (family of 4). Living room is relatively small and was ok for a three night stay but would have been too small for a longer stay. There is a lack of space for suitcases and little storage for clothes.
The bathroom is very tight and when being shared by 4 persons, does not have enough room for toilet bags etc. The lodge itself is nice but if you look closer, a bit the worse for wear with cobwebs in the higher corners and the ceilings needing a coat of paint.
The location is good as many other reviewers have said – just a short ride from town if you have a car. The shuttle bus is available but we chose for the flexibility of our own car. We also had some disturbance from people outside at night but this is of course not the fault of the resort, but a lack of respect for others by certain guests.
All in all a good accommodation and location when staying in Banff.
