Been a while since we've been back to Banff so we were looking forward to our short stay. Booking online was easy and pictures helped convince it was a good fit. We were travelling w/ my wife and myself, our son and daughter, her boyfriend and our grandson. Getting there was not too bad. Once you're on Tunnel mtn. , just stay left and go past the hostel. Check in was easy and the front desk staff was helpful and informative about the resort. Parking was in front if you could find a spot. Otherwise, you park underground which could be a haul, especilly if it were very busy. Stairs are involved. The room was nicely laid out. It was a loft with two beds up in the open and one bedroom on the main floor. We needed a playpen for sleeping the baby which was already set up in the room. Absolutely loved the feather mattresses. Kitchen w/ full fridge/stove/range/dishwasher, dishes etc. No firewood or kindling in the room which was mentioned by the front desk staff. It was easy enough to retrieve from the underground parking and the kindling was at the frontdesk. Would've been easier if they were together. The balcony had a fantastic view of Mt. Rundle, Tunnel mtn. and the Trans Canada in the distance on a clear day. Sand ashtrays on the balcony for our non-smoking room. We had some smokers w/ us so that was very handy. We didn't deal w/ the staff a lot since our stay was short but when we did they were friendly/helpful. Lots of brochures/info in the room for what to do/see or where to go to eat. Plenty of traffic for dinner w/ food delivery drivers. Must have seen about 6 different types and some of them multiple times. There is shared barbecues onsite which were also used regularly. Our son used the hot tub facilities and he enjoyed it although it was crowded quickly. There's a bus service which takes you to the townsite about every 40 minutes which I thought was very handy. Starts as early as about 6am and runs until about 11:30pm. No issues w/ noise at night.
Check out was also easy and pleasant.
All in all, a good time at a good resort. Would've stayed a few more days if we could've but, oh well.
