Delta did not disappoint in the quality of its rooms and service. Rooms were upgraded (traditional in furnishings) and clean. Nice pool and great large hot-tub. Hot-tub is separated from the pool area by half-wall which helps to feel more cozy and secluded. Robes and pool towels were provided. Pool was a good feature as there aren't many hotels with nice pools in Banff. We were able to upgrade to a nicer room with a fireplace.- room itself was a bit bigger with a larger bathroom. Bed was very comfortable with nice sheets.
Negatives- although on the main strip, it is a bit far from the main shopping/restaurant area. Underground parking is quite tight and one night (during the weekend) there were more cars than parking spaces.
We stayed in other hotels on the strip and found that the quality of the hotel was not much less than Delta's but price was much better. Don't think we would stay there again given than we hardly spent any time in the hotel.
