I have been a delta privelage member for a long time I have stayed at delta, hotels in Calgary kananaskis Edmonton and montreal. The service was amazing and the concierge gave a good choice of restaurants to eat at.We had a room with a fireplace. We didn't use it because it was summer but it had more space than the regular rooms.I have always been pleased with delta hotels and I will keep going to them.

This hotel is one from many Banff hotels you can chose from. We already stay in several Delta properties before, but first time in this one.
Hotel is easy to find, especially when you are driving from Calgary, just take first exit from the 1st HWY. To park your car in the Banff you will need parking pass, you can buy one at the Banff National Park gates daily of annual. As well we paid for the hotel parking.

Hotel is not very big, 3 stores up and 2 underground levels and floor plan was little bit confusing. Our stay was Sunday to Monday and the hotel wasn’t busy at all, but price didn’t reflect it. Hotel’s pool is lovely small and suitable for small company.
If you don’t like restaurant dining – there is Safeway nearby, but you can find variety of dining options along Banff Ave. Early morning we found that there is no buffet breakfast during week days, just on weekends, but ale-carte was good for us.

Unfortunately Monday was a cold day with snow and we didn’t spend too much time outside. It was second time when we stayed in Banff late November/ early Decvember and both time it was cold.

My husband & I booked a couple of nights in Banff to celebrate our anniversary. We were completely satisfied with our choice to stay at the Delta!

The rooms are spacious & well appointed, nice to see a gas fireplace. The beds are very comfortable & the fresh white linens add to the comfort level (in our experience many of Banff's accommodations still use patterned bedspreads- I always question their cleanliness.)
There is heated underground parking, when you leave in the morning your windshield has been cleaned by the staff overnight- very nice gesture!
The 'Grotto' pool area is beautifully designed with a pool, hot tub & steam room. The steam room is infused with eucalyptus- this would be such a treat after a day of skiing. Speaking of skiing- there are ski lockers available for guest use in the underground parking area.
We ordered room service a couple of times & the food was great, wait staff were friendly & prompt.

We will definitely stay here again, I would recommend the Delta to anybody looking for a place to stay in Banff.

Just returned from a 3 night stay in Banff-and what a great hotel!! Location is near town, hotel is on the small side (which we like) and the service was fabulous! Melanie (front desk manager) went over& beyond to help us w/a Priceline oversight/issue(never again will we book w/them!) She made our trip so memorable by just doing what so many larger chains refuse to do-which is give your patrons the service they expect from a 4 star hotel!! Max& Sebastian were great as well. Overall, Nice rooms (request a fireplace!), great service, really good restaurant, fab location& amazing service!

I had to make a last minute plan to spend the night at Banff after a work visit. Meredith at the customer desk, provided excellent customer service. She upgraded me to a room with fireplace; which had an amazing view. The staff at the hotel was very very friendly and courteous. Really enjoyed my stay. Will definitely stay in Delta if I come back to Banff.

Room Tip: Get a room with fireplace; it's worth it.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our 5 week trip to Canada. We booked a premium room with 2 queen beds (traveling with our 10yr old) and a fireplace. The room had a kettle (great for tea drinkers) a small bar fridge. parking was fairly easy to do under the hotel. It is a 9 min walk to the start of the shopping area (with a 10yr old remember). The pool area is fun with a large hot spa. we had very comfortable beds. In the lobby there was fruit and water. We had a meal in the restaurant and it was fantastic! We also had very quick room service on a Friday when the hotel was full. One minor complaint would be that there isnt much light in the room. It is a bit dark looking into suitcases. Also on day 2 we weren't topped up with shampoo/conditioner or tea. Overall a great place to stay in Banff

Room Tip: We booked a premium room ad it included the parking. Just check as it might be worth upgrading the r...
