We were looking to stay in Banff for two nights (2 adults/2 children) and originally looked at the Fairmont, but found it to be much too expensive. We ended up booking the Delta for less than half the price.
The hotel isn't very big/tall, so we missed the entrance to the hotel. Actually we didn't exactly miss it, but we thought that it would have been bigger, so we drove past the entrance. We went for the self-park option (I think it was $12/day). Parking lot is not large, but we didn't have problems getting a spot, and none of the spots are that far from the elevators.
The staff was courteous and we received an upgrade to a deluxe room (2 Queens with a fireplace) for our stay.
We had no complaints about the room.
The pool was nice as it was quite warm. They had towels there and also shampoo as well which was very convenient.
The location was fine, as it was a short walk to downtown Banff.
We had breakfast at the restaurant and we treated very well.
Wifi internet was included for free.
Overall we were happy with the hotel and would stay again.
