Its a bit posh but not as glamourous as the Banff Springs - also smaller and less busy which is nice. Just across the road from the Banff Springs and a bit away from the town (5min drive), it is peaceful and most rooms offer great mountain views as do the Primrose and Eden Restaurants. Breakfast at the Primrose was great - choice of buffet or menu items which offer more than enough choice at a decent price for the type of hotel this is. (under $20 each). The room was very spacious and clean. The style is more classy than trendy but still very clean and not dated. The car parking is a bit pricey at $16 and I always think a bit of a rip off in a town where parking is not that expensive in the downtown. There is a free bus comes by every 45mins which is better than driving to the town centre and paying for parking. The gym is nice with fairly up do date and located next to the swimming pool/spa and hot tubs. All well kept with nice friendly staff. Nothing much negative to say about this place and thought it was well worth the weekend visit and two nights away from Calgary. Only gripe - the elevator is painfully slow.
