Staff were all very friendly, accommodating, and eager to assist with any/all
requests. The location, scenery & facilities were beyond our expectations.
Our room was very comfortable, with spectacular scenes at every window.
All our meals where delicious & plentiful. Thanks for a wonderful stay, I wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely wonderful lodging that could not be in a more picturesque or convenient setting to the wonderful skiing that Sunshine has to offer. Gorgeous loft room with an amazing view, comfortable, amazing and accommodating staff, great restaurants, amenities etc. etc. etc. Loved it and convinced us to buy a season pass for next ski season! We'll be back!

I am on the hill (Sunshine) 40 days a year and often stay at the Sunshine Mountain lodge given its convenient location. The one problem that consistently plagues this hotel is food quality and service in the dinning room -its simply awful. Given the convenient location and respectable rooms the hotel gets away with serving terrible food year after year after year. Management is indifferent to the issue as this problem has persisted for the past 5 years.

The air was very very dry even with the humidifier.
It seems to me you've had the same menu for at least 10 years. Even though it's satisfactory a general update would be appreciated.
Please take these comments as constructive criticism as nothing in the items mentioned are deal breakers

Don't get me wrong! I love Sunshine (the skiing) and I always have, but a two nights stay and two days of skiing for myself and two others, cost me just over $1300.00. The staff were very friendly, but clearly must not be experienced in food/beverage & hospitality. Young people from New Zealand and Austrailia working/playing for the winter. Again, great people, but food was blah and $$$$. Hire some experienced cooks and wait staff would be my suggestion.

Accomodations are way over priced, but I don't mind so much paying for the convenience of an on-hill room and a spectacular view that never ever gets old. However, we had a Brewster Suite that was crowded for the three of us and it was so hot in there that I felt like I was suffocating. Needless to say that we didn't sleep.

All meals were well below average and over priced. A poor breakfast buffet for three, $55. Dinner that evening in the Chimney Corner - Chicken Wings (probably Frozen Pinty's), Hamburger (obviously frozen), Ichiban Noodles (again, tasted like a frozen dinner) $70. Lunch the next day at Goats Eye - two orders of Chicken Fingers, one Cheeseburger, a slice of Pizza, three beer and two gatorade. $78. Seriously!! This same order anywhere off of the hill would taste better and cost about $45. The problem with staying on the hill is that "they gottcha" and they take advantage of the fact that 6 out of 7 nights, they are your only options. Friday night you can escape into Banff - Try Athena's Pizza - YUM!!

Sorry Sunshine, but for what you charge, I would expect a lot better. Skiing, as always, was AMAZING!!!!!

The staff was really good and accommodating. We had a problem with our fireplace in our room so they upgraded us to one of the loft rooms. The room and the amenities were amazing and I will definitely go back.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, Robert.

I am very happy to hear that you were upgraded when your fireplace didn't work though I'm not surprised as our team does their best to go above-and-beyond.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Sunshine Mountain Lodge again soon.

Warm regards,

Mark Bell

Stayed just one night but it was great! The bed was very comfortable and it was nice and quite. The food at dinner was excellent, lunch was OK a my wife had an issue with under cooked pizza and the server took care of it right away, she was great. The next server was OK vacuuming in the dining room as we were wrapping up dinner, obviously wanted to leave for the night.

Overall the stay was fun, decent quality for price. The service is hit and miss but that is to be expected with a seasonal operation.

We will come back..
