“Sleepless in Sunshine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

The hotel, staff, food all great. The noise level in our room (519) not so much - walls seemed very thin, could hear people next door and in the corridor talking, heard doors banging etc. This went on until gone midnight, needless to say didn't get a good nights sleep. Won't stay here again.

Wonderful on mountain lodge at Sunshine village.
Stayed mid-week in January.
Easy and friendly check-in with attentive and helpful staff.
Chimney Corner dining was pleasant with lovely views of Lookout Mountain. Menu relatively straight forward but acceptably varied. Food and service were excellent and good value.
Room was modest in size but well appointed and comfortable. Noise from corridor was noticable but not overly intrusive. Things were very quiet after 9 pm.
We were enthralled watching the lights from the grooming machines high up on the mountain after dark.
Great to be able to assess the snow conditions from the room balcony in the morning.

Just stayed here last week, Jan 18/19. The check in was fast and easy, the views were awesome and the food was great but.. The spa was a huge disappointment. We had booked in 2 messages for the wife and i, and they forgot to book her in. They didn't try to resolve it or help us in anyway, all they did was said sorry but we tried to call you, witch they didn't. Instead of trying to find a solution they pretty much blamed me for the mess up and left it as that. So we cancelled mine, i wasn't going to get one and leave my wife to sit there for an hour and wish she had one.

I will stay at sunshine village again, it was easy and beautiful, but i will not try to go to that spa again. I was so disappointed that they didn't do anything to help us after they screwed up on the booking.

We have stayed here several times over the last 10 years plus. We have noticed a big improvement the last few years and have been told that there has been a change in management A few years ago.( it definitely shows!!!) The front desk staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We stay at many hotels and others can definitely learn from this great group at sunshine!

I had the amazing experience of attending the Restorative Yoga and Ski Retreat, the weekend of January 10/11. The event was hosted by Christine Davidson (ski instructor/ yoga instructor) and the staff at Sunshine Lodge.
The goal of the retreat was to get in touch with your inner Mountain Mystic, I felt relaxed, renewed an inspired after this experience. The food consisted of amazing grourmet meals, the Sunshine Staff involved - media, marketing and dinning staff all contributed to making this a wonderful weekend. I highly recommend this weekend retreat!

I have always loved sunshine for snowboarding. When I saw online that for a few bucks more I could stay on the hill I was apprehensive but DAAAAMN so happy I did. The room was perfect with a balcony to check the conditions. The food was awesome too and the bartenders were top notch. All front desk staff were so good to my partner and I. Hot tub and room was so clean .. I'll be back !!

My Daughter & I stayed here last year with my Sister and her fella! It was so good we rebooked this year and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Loft Suites for 5 nights and it was a fantastic trip! The staff were superb. There could have been a bit more snow, but that really can not be planned. The night time activities were also a laugh. Tim who ran the Sledding and the Hot Tub Bingo was a star! The restaurant food was great, but after 5nights a little repetitive. Stacey was the stand out wait staff but they were all good. Trappers Bar was also a a good night time distraction! Loved our stay here, can't wait until next time!

Room Tip: The Loft Suites are awesome!
