This hotel has everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the mountains. My fiance and I live in Calgary, and so make a point of making a trip out to Banff every few months. We've stayed in most of similarly classed hotels on the main strip, and of them all, the IOB has become our favourite. It's certainly not the Banff Springs, but you get what you pay for. And for a young couple like us, the price is right and the hotel is wonderful. Being return guests, we usually get a free room upgrade and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is the furthest from downtown on the main strip, but we love the walk. The outdoor hotpool is its biggest attraction, with the view absolutely spectacular. If you're looking for a great value, in a really unique hotel then surely book your stay here.
