“Good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

We had a great stay. The views were breath taking. The staff were excellent. Rooms were clean big and spacious.
Everything is so close by walking distance. With the busses also stopping right out the front of the hotel.
The only down side we found were the rooms were not very sound proof and on more than one occasion had to go out into the hall way and tell a group of people to please be quiet or have there discussion somewhere else as people were trying to sleep.
The pool and hot tubs were nice and relaxing most of the time if there were not children around being allowed to run wild n scream uncontrolled by the parents.
But all up it's a great easy place to stay

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had booked a standard king room, and were upgraded to a "Honeymoon" suite. The room was quite nice, with a large king bed, a jacuzzi tub and a nice fireplace. There was a large balcony with Mountain views. The cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired, but not to the point that it was an issue. ( Side tables needed a good dusting, carpet could use a vacuuming and some small stains on the bedding). The walls do seem to be very thin, but luckily enough for us it was a quiet night at the hotel, and we were able to have a good sleep without any interruptions

The location is absolutely perfect for an evening out in the downtown area. The continental breakfast was very basic, but still a nice touch. We didn't use the Pool or Hot tub, but it did look very nice.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Banff!

The hotel itself was lovely when you walk in. Great looking lobby. But the bed sheets weren't fully tucked in, the way they designed the bathroom door made it more complicated to get into than getting into Fort Knox. The continental breakfast was toast, cheap cereal, and four juices that all taste the same, so don't make a free breakfast the deciding factor, the hotel is close to downtown and can walk everywhere which makes it nice. The hotel had a decent bed, nice view, and modern shower. We didn't spend much time in the hotel room, and neither should you. Drive to lake Minewanka, drive up Mount Nourquay, visit the Hoodoos, and turn left onto Buffalo St and continue along there for a few kilometres and there will be a viewpoint in the right.

I found this hotel to be everything I needed for my stay in Banff. The room was a good size and well appointed, the bathroom clean, the staff super friendly and location fantastic.
My only issue with the hotel was it's not very sound proof so anyone passing by in the corridor can wake you up. When I raised the noise issue, the staff moved us to a room at the end of the corridor which meant we had very little foot traffic going past and had a much better nights sleep. They also took 15% off for the nights we'd been in the noisy room. Full marks for the way they handled the complaint.

Room Tip: My tip would be to request a room at either end of the corridor and not in the middle (we were moved...

Perfect location on banff ave, minutes walk into town. Rooms are well furnished and maintained and the staff hold a high level pride in their work. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, with the blonde girl upfront going above and beyond! The cleaning staff were always attentive for your needs whether it be a towel or an extra box of tissues.
