The room was nice but we did notice a 'smell' of old sweat as we sat in the lower part of the room watching TV. Smell likely came from the sofa. Needs to be cleaned more often.

Otherwise the rest of the room was a 4/5.

My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel. Staff is very friendly and service was excellent. We had the loft suite and if we kept the heat off and window open upstairs, it was comfortable sleeping, otherwise it was just too hot. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was super. We stayed at Charlton's Cedar Court through Living Social coupon. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but definitely showing it's age. Loft room with fireplace is very cute, however the upstairs bedroom gets very warm with all the heat funnelling up. Complimentary breakfast not fancy, but adequate. Would stay here again, but would choose a different type of room. If using Living Social coupon, make sure you understand the rules for your dinner discount.

My husband and chose Charlton's Cedar Court for a recent weekend in Banff and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodations. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was simple but definitely adequate for our needs and since it was included in the room price which was already reasonable we had no complaints. We had no problems at all with noise or disturbances and all in all decided that we would definitely stay at this motel again. Great value for your money!
