Stayed overnight here for a meeting next door at the Banff Park Lodge. We were upgraded upon check-in to a two-room suite. Very spacious and clean - two room suite had one room with two double beds and a table with chairs. The other room had coffee maker & fridge in room with a sofa bed and queen sized bed - both rooms had TV with excellent cable selection. The hotel is older but seems to be kept up very well.
The only thing we found difficult was the lack of space in the bathroom. There was no counter space to speak of and no room to move around but not a real problem.
Lovely to have balconies off both rooms in the suite and even though we overlooked the parking lot, we could still see the mountains. This hotel is in a very central location near the main shopping area. We left our vehicle at the hotel and went for a walk through Banff and found even though the main street is under construction, the stores and restaurants are still very accessible.
The Bow View is a sister property to the Banff Park Lodge, which provides use of the pool and hot tub to guests at the Bow View. Pool is salt water, which is very neat!
Our meetings were held at the Banff Park Lodge and the restaurant there was super for both dinner and breakfast! We had the breakfast buffet in the morning and it was great - very fresh and piping hot with a chef standing on-hand to replenish food when getting low.
