Even if you didn't stay in one of the suites, I can guarantee that you were still impressed with your room and stay. The location could not be beat...and neither could the scenery! The staff was very nice and friendly. It was affordable, and had a great breakfast AND pool. I hope I can come back here soon! :)

Stayed one night and ennoyed it. Good bed. Breakfast a little light on but nourishing and sufficient. Just remember if you want a cup of tea with your breakfast you have to go out of the breakfast room into tbe lobby area to make it. (There is not enough room in the breakfast room for the tea making supplies) There is no sign telling you where to get your tea.

On holiday, we travel or sightsee all day and only use hotel for sleeping, showering etc. We don't want or need "5 star" experience. For a 3 day stay, we picked this place based on price, TA feedback and expectation for "BW style" accommodation. We were satisfied and would recommend to others.
Night clerk was very helpful, wi fi occasionally slow but not a big deal, breakfast room crowded but typical broad selection of items. Underground parking is tight - but we managed and liked free off street, covered parking option.
It is a couple of blocks from downtown - easy walk and results in quiet neighborhood.
Solid value based on our expectations.

Reading other reviews, don't expect to have the amenities of a luxury hotel if you reserve at a best western! This place exceeded our expectations. This hotel has underground parking. Yes, it is tight but at least it has parking which is not always the case in banff. My husband drives a 3/4 ton truck and made it fine.

It is walking distance to shops and main street which is a huge advantage considering that parking is limited in Banff.

The hotel was upgraded and clean. The rooms were surprisingly spacious! We had the 2 bedroom suite which has 3 beds. The pool is not large but nice and the free breakfast had hot waffles, sausages and scramble eggs.

Most Best Westerns accept dogs which is great for pet owners. We would definately go back there again.
