What to have for lunch? We decided on burger instead of Sushi and although I am a Sushi fan, that was definately the better decision. The small restaurant is cozy and service super friendly. The beer is a bit expensive, but that it is nearly everywhere in restaurants. The burgers however are GREAT, so are the fries. We had a veggie burger and an elk burger and both just tasted amazing. Last year my favourite veggie burger was in Vegas but that first place is now given to the one I had at Eddie's. Usually eating Veggie burgers is not much fun, they taste flat and pretty much horrible. But that one - I could eat one right now. Loved it.

We just arrived in Banff after a long trip from Scandinavia and wanted something quick yet delish. Eddie Burger Bar had really really good burgers. Different patties - also Veg options. The side salad (house salad) was fresh and had been tossed in a nice vinaigrette. Thumbs up.

As the title states the food @ The Eddie is good for the most part, a bit pricey for burgers but hey its Banff,it should be excepted. The main problem with this restaurant is the service, the past couple times I went it has been terrible, due to this I haven't been in a few months so who knows it could have changed by now. In general whenever you asked for something the servers made it seem like it was a big deal or that they had something better to do. Not too sure if I will give it another shot as it has been a reoccurring theme at this place. Service is a big part of the product & Im not too sure The Eddie Burger understands that to be honest.

the burgers are not bad and combinations are for sure special. But in general they are all overpriced and rather small for what you pay for. The creations all sound really fancy but we missed some real unique flavour. Other places in town will serve you quite similar dishes in much nicer locations.
