“Will be going back for sure!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

It's a small place so you might have to wait a bit for a seat but it's well worth it. The staff were super friendly and the food came out hot and delicious. Plates are designed to be shared so it was a nice place to go with friends. Definitely recommend the King Kong Noodles. Will be going back for sure to try out the rest of the menu the next time we're in Banff.

“Super Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

It had been a few years since the last time I had the opportunity to eat at Nourish and things have certainly changed - and not for the better. The atmosphere was nice and I think the sharing of dishes is fantastic but of the three dishes we ordered only one was edible. My partner and I have been vegetarian/vegan for a number of years and it seemed to us that the people who thought up the menu really do not have a background in how to assemble palate pleasing veg dishes. Instead the food came across as made by chefs who don't understand vegetarian cooking and try to make up for that fact by making the dishes as complex as possible, without thinking about texture (our food was very soggy) or how the flavours of the ingredients mesh together.

“Good for sharing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Ate here twice during our stay- once as couple and once with a friend. The food was very tasty, with generous portions, so it works better to share dishes between a group. There was no problem for me finding gluten-free food. Service did take a while when it was busy, but was friendly overall.

“Best lunch dining ever in Banff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

And one of the best meals I have ever had here. Everything about Banff is overwhelming..the beauty of the mountains, the lakes and streams, the wildlife and the plethora of restaurants, of which I have had the pleasure to enjoy over decades of visiting this special town. Nourish Bistro is a wee bit of an effort to access but so, so worth it!! Exceptional food. A unique take on meat and fish-oriented favourites as well as one-of-a-kind vegetarian plates. The food is truly extraordinary. Each bite more flavourful than the last. The blend of fresh vegetables, herbs, spices and sauces is sublime. We asked our fabulous 'Nourish-expert' Josh for his recommendations and all we can say is the portions are generous, the plating out-of-this world, and truly a "finish every drop of food from the plate" dining experience. The wine and drink list is perfectly suited to the food, the desserts yummy, everything fresh and home-made. The ambience is cosy and relaxing. We will make the trip again to Banff if only to eat here. I am just concerned that when they obtain their street-level location mid/late Spring, it will be impossible to get in. As fellow tripadvisor reviewer 'Jeff I' recommends, "book your reservation now", and bring your appetite!

“Tasty Stuff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

I'm an omnivore but open to vegetarian cuisine. We had the classic nachos (deservedly praised), a raw veggie plate, and wild mushroom ravioli. All tasty. Twelve bucks for a glass of wine was rather steep, my only quibble. My wife and daughter had pie, which they pronounced delightful.
