“A nice place to stay.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

We enjoyed our stay at Treetops. The accommodation is clean and well serviced and Peter and Rosemary are charming hosts. The upstairs lounge and balcony are for guests use and tea and coffee making facilities are available. Slightly unusual are the breakfast arrangements in that a voucher is issued which is redeemed at Ricky's a restaurant in a nearby hotel. The breakfast though is very good and has the advantage of being available for most of the day so this is not a problem. We had the only room out of 3 that didn't have en-suite, however this wasn't a major issue as we had the exclusive use of a bathroom that was immediately opposite our bedroom. On site parking is a big positive.…

This really is not a Bed & Breakfast place. We were given vouchers for breakfast and had to walk to a restaurant in a hotel on the main street to have breakfast. The only coffee is upstairs and it's INSTANT coffee. The stairs are too steep to attempt to carry the instant coffee back to your room. It's also overpriced for what you get...$179. for king sized bed. Our friends paid $140. for a much smaller room AND they had to walk across the hall to use the bathroom. The place is old and needs some work. The outside stairs are steep and need painting. You have to carry your luggage up and down those steep stairs. The landscaping needs work, too. The owners are very nice, but this was the worst accommodation we had on our two week road trip.

We were so happy with the location and accomodations at this B&B. The room was large and comfy (had the king room), lovely living room and balcony upstairs. Owners were so kind and interesting to talk to. Breakfast provided was superb, just a quick walk to Ricky's - lovely choices for breakfast - perogies with bacon and pineapple juice for me on day one and eggs benedict with pineapple juice on day two. The location was a quiet neighbourhood but very easy and comfortable walk to everything in downtown Banff. Would recommend and choose it again.

Room Tip: The king room would be a great choice for a longer stay as there is a double vanity with a separate...

As the title says, great location. Two minute walk away from the centre of town in Banff. We were glad to have an all-day breakfast option, free parking, extremely clean accommodations, and it was a pleasure to meet Rosemary and Peter. Eleanor in Calgary handled the booking and was very helpful.

We stayed for three days, the room is a suite with large bedroom and living room kitchen bathroom , all are neat and clean, and contains eveything we need. The location is also good, near Banff city cente. We are very satisfied, will recommend!

We stayed in the basement suite, it was musty, probably due to old carpets throughout, even in the kitchen, very outdated and old, cobwebs and somewhat dirty. Cold shower due to not enough hot water, no electrical outlet in bathroom, so good luck doing your hair, and no other plug in with a mirror close enough; kitchen with fridge and small microwave and cooking supplies and dishes and yet no stovetop, very thin window shades in the bedroom and none in kitchen, so not very private. If stairs are a problem there are some going up to the side door for entry and some stairs going down into the suite. Unfortunately the only good things were the location, and the basement suite was spacious with lots of closets and a king bed, however, which was in my opinion too hard. We just came from 3 fabulous B&B's in the Okanagan, so this one was a real disappointment to say the least. We had the option of not getting the breakfast with the suite, for which we am grateful, however we learned that you go to a local cafe for it anyway. So even though the price was reasonable, I will never return!!
