This scenic highway between Lake Louise and the town of Jasper is not to be missed. Rent a car if you don't have your own or there are many tour companies offering tours. It is worth driving the whole length about 230km. If you don't have time for that it is still worth seeing parts of it. You can get an Icefields Parkway map from the Park info desks in Banff, Lake Louise, or Jasper. And if you have the time you could travel this highway over several days, staying in the campgrounds or hotels along the way. Many great hikes and scenic stops. The Parkway is kept open in the winter but all accomodation is closed. There are still tour companies running transport in the winter if you do not want to drive it yourself.
