When I first saw pictures of Lake Louise, I thought it is a placid, even holy lake. Come to think of it, picture-perfect postcards just served their faithful purpose. You cannot know a place wholly unless you visit there in person. At the other camera angle of picture-perfect postcards stand a multitude of tourists from many parts of the world. Those picture-perfect postcards don't show you this aspect of a picture. This place is very crowded, and of course, this fact proves that Lake Louise is a worthwhile place to visit. Lake Louise is one of the most beloved lakes by Canadians and non-Canadians alike.
Pro: Picture-perfect. A favorite wedding venue. Are you a student of linguistics? Come visit during the peak seasons and you can collect voice samples of many languages.
Con: If you want to avoid a large number of people, consider visitng between late October and early February. This could mean you give up nice weather to non-crowdedness. The peak seasons are from early May to late August.
