We had an evening meal at The Bull's Head last week when we were visiting family in the local area. They managed to accomodate both our families (all ten of us) easily, having requested to be seated together. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and staff insisted on sorting out highchairs and making sure we had clear disabled access to the toilets for my grandmother who is in a wheel chair :0)
The menu was varied and it was difficult for us all to choose as everything looked so appealing! The prices are very reasonable and it was lovely to see a great childrens menu as oppossed to simple chicken nuggets/sausage etc! All 3 courses provided not only quantity, but quality! Very impressed! Not very often you can tick all the boxes!!! As much as I enjoyed my main, I am a pudding lady and would highly recommend the Bailey's cheese cake!!! Struggled to fit it in as it's huge, but I managed ;0)
We didn't realise that the pub also has a B&B attached, so will definately bare that in mind for the furture! If the breakfasts live up to the evening meals, then I am sure we couldn't go wrong! Would definately go back again- great service, lovely food, reasonable price and over all a great atmosphere and great family feel :0)
