As one birthday gift, my wife treated us to the Dolphine Signature Swim at Dolphin Adventures in Nueva Vallarta. The company Vallarta Adventure's includes several different levels of experiences with dolphins or sea lions. Hands down this is one of the most wonderful experiences I can remember. It is highly educational and rewarding. In fact after the conclusion of the forty minutes in the water with them you come to deeply appreciate these spectacular, intelligent creatures. You'll also come to admire the work the staff does. It is fun but beyond that they conduct research and efforts to improve and protect the environment and the lives of these and other wildlife. This experience tended to slow me down and to become more aware of what is important in the world. When we return to Vallarta, we plan to volunteer time with the company working with them.
