We've been coming to Nuevo Vallarta for about 10 years and every year we try new restaurants. Por Que No was the best dining experience in all our years of dining out. Eddie (the owner) and the wait staff (Ramon, Paco, Pablo, and the others) were excellent and very attentive. The food was outstanding. The prices were typical of fine dining but not unreasonable. They had a great female entertainer with a mellow voice who sang American, Latin, and Mexican songs. The view of the small marina was romantic and make sure to ask the waiters what time they start the "fireworks". Don't miss the "sexy coffee". Our dining was outside patio but they have light fans to enhance the breeze. Tonight we're going to "Eddie's Place". If Por Que No was this great, Eddie's Place must be equally as good.

This restaurant resides where another favorite used to be in the Marina area. We found it by accident and were very happy. It is owned by the fellow who owns Eddie's Place and it is very, very good. The menu is eclectic and is somewhere between Mexican and Continental. We had Mexican dishes (when in Mexico, etc.) and were very pleased. The special soup of the evening which was a Mexican version of Hot and Sour Soup (the Lima fruit and a chile laced chicken broth with chicken and fried noodles) was very tasty. The Shrimp Burrito (Shrimp with a Crab Stuffed Burrito) was excellent as was the Paella (ok, it wasn't all Mexican but the flavors were). The service staff bent over backwards to please. Great place and we will return.

Right on the marina. Service and food excellent The owner even came around and checked on how things were. There was live music which I think they have every night.

Atmosphere was friendly and you can't beat the view. We stopped by just for an appetizer since we had already eaten dinner earlier. I had something like a spring roll and my husband had chocolate cake. The spring roll wrapper was too wet. I couldn't pick it up nor cut it up. Eventually, I gave it up and just ate the filling with a fork. My husbands cake however, was outstanding. My husband had a diet coke and I had coffee and water. The bill, including tip, was about $38.00 (US).
