We had a wonderful time on the Sunset Cruise in November 2012. Carlos was our Captain and was informative and interesting talking about sailing, the bay and pointing out downtown attractions. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect. We had enough wind to sail and the bay was calm. We lost the wind, and we motored out in front of the malecon and had a splendid view of the lights of downtown Vallarta. The food served was very good and enough for dinner. Free drinks throughout the cruise. There was no pressure to buy anything. No videos, pictures, nothing. I highly recommend this adventure.

A nice group of 11 set sail out of the marina. Actually, the sails weren't unfurled and the engine took us across the water. Immediately, Carlos served us whatever we wanted to drink, and a hearty plate of nachos, shrimp salsa and guacamole. The sun shone brightly on us and the water was calm as we took in the shoreline of Puerto Vallarta. We passed The Arch at the southern end of the beach, and landed at a nice bay that was full of schools of fish, as well as nice snorkeling area along the rocks. You could either swim to the beach and lay in the sand, or hike a short distance up to the waterfalls. There was another trail that went up to a restaurant, but since we would get lunch later on the boat, no one went up there. Then Carlos (both crew members were named Carlos) set out paddleboards for anyone who wanted to try them, and a few did.
For lunch, we got sushi, salad, yummy cherry tomatoes, mozzerella slices (soft) and fish. It was all exceptional! On the way back, drinks were offered again, as often as we wanted, and no demands on the passengers except to enjoy the day. As we passed The Arch, Carlos steered the boat close to the rocks so we could see the blue-footed boobies. They really do have blue feet!
As the wind picked up, Carlos and Carlos unfurled the sails and the wind filled them up. The engines were not loud, but it was ever so quiet after they were shut off.
We really enjoyed this trip; it was as advertised, and I would do it again the next time I come to Puerto Vallarta.

Our captain Johnny met us at the marina and took us out on the Benneteau 50. From the beginning the service was incredible and the experience delightful. They asked us what we wanted to see and do, and then customized the trip around us. There is little wind in the morning, so we motored to a couple of snorkeling sites. In the afternoon the wind came up and we returned under sail. Great food, plentiful drinks, and a spotless boat. The crew were terrific. Highly recommended.

This was awesome...don't eat breakfast. They serve you food and drink from the minute you get on the boat. The boat is so nice. We saw tons of dolphins and someone saw a ray, but I never saw it. It was the best day, so pretty and super fun! Nice people and great service-everone was named Carlos and they were FAN TASTIC!
