We found this hotel to fall far short of what we expected from our initial expectations. The staff were unhelpful and could not be bothered to resolve problems unless we hassled them. Initially we were told we had only booked one room and would be four of us in there. After much to do they found we had booked two rooms. Did bot bother to programme room keys so could not get back in initially. One safe would not work and our shower covered the whole bathroom when switched on. The shower was resolved after asking 3 times, safe was never fixed. We had to move rooms twice as room smelled as sewage. Eventually neither safes worked and asked again for them to be fixed. After hassling them again a guy turned up and took a minute to do each one!! Complained to the manager in person and he was not interested in anything. Just said we have moved you, problem solved, even when we complained that our clothes now smelt. Worst of all was the mosquitos in the lobby and breakfast restaurant due to the stale water in the aquarium. Staff and guests alike were bitten to pieces. Sunbeds by the pool were broken and the place was not clean overall. Despite the price there are, as we found out, much better places to stay in the area than this and I would advise anyone to avoid this like the plague. Airconditioners were like having a car or aeroplane in your room as well.

Room Tip: No good rooms at this hotel, just don't stay here fullstop!!!

Where do I start. Our room smelt like sewage. We speak a bit of spanish, but the staff speak absolutely no english (so if youre not confident don't come here), so trying to explain this was difficult. We got moved rooms, second room smelt like sewage. Moved again and the third room had no hot water and an ants nest on the balcony.none of the safes worked either.
Asked to speak to the manager; useless lump of lard. Just shrugged his shoulders and said "youve moved rooms, why arent you happy?".
The beach its in front of is dirty. Furthermore, they charge you 200 pesos to take your room towels to the beach, AND to their own pool!!! Crap, don't come here.

I stayed here with my boyfriend 1 night. We choose this property because of the pool. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, especially for the price.

Pros:
The room was very spacious, and had a balcony.
The hotel is located very close to the beach.
Large pool area, with plenty of loungers and tables.
Convenience store on site.

Cons:
My boyfriend did not like that the balcony was overlooking the pool, he said it didn't give us any privacy.
No refrigerator in the room.
No restaurant/food or drink service near the pool.

Overall we were very pleased with the experience. I would return to this hotel in the future.

A terrible place, in need of a paint job and much more renovation work! The shower was broken, the elevator was not working. I booked through Expedia and we got a dungeon without any windows.
The pool is dirty like all the chairs and lounges. Loud Techno-Style music in the pool area.
Breakfast is simple and the service non-existent.
We had no towels in our room and after complaining it took the staff almost an hour to deliver them.
Internet did not worked in the room and was slow and unreliable in the Lobby and the Restaurant.
Not a good place to visit Veracruz, the bus takes about 30 minutes to go to the center, by car it is not shorter.
I could go on forever ...

We stayed for two days. The hotel is in poor condition with no hot water. There were wholes on the walls and floors. There is no way this hotel is a four-star hotel. By far the worst hotel we've been at in Mexico.

We booked this hotel through a travel agent at a bus station in Apizaco, Tlaxcala(bad decision on our part). Major problem: lighting in the hallways did not work. THIS created unsafe conditions because you could get raped, mugged and even murdered there. You couldn't even see the keycard entry device on your hotel door. Luckily I brought a small flashlight with me. So I went to the front desk and explained the the problem the girl gave me some lame that the sensors were not working and there was nothing she could do about it. I told here that we didn't have enough towels in the room and she coldly responded "algo mas". First, please donot reserve through any bus station, and secondly, avoid this hotel like the plague and go with one that you know.
