We wanted a small, quiet site, without all the bells and whistles that come with commercial sites, and the Kings green site certain met all of those requirements, with a neat toilet block housing ladies, gent's, and disabled facilities that were spotless during our stay, and a newly completed laundry room with washers and driers for those damp scottish days.
With views over Luce bay and a sun that refused to set until the very early hours it was pretty much idyllic, we even got some great weather and even the threatened gale that forced another days stay had a silver lining allowing us another meal at the excellent Clansman resturant in town.
The two volunteer wardens were a mine of local info, and couldn't have done any more to ensure we enjoyed our stay, a few professionals could take a tip from their book.
