This park is magical!! We arrived about an hour earlier than the organized tour for the cenote (underground Mayan rivers!), so we got to chill on the hammocks and just relax under the sun. Our tour guide Cesar arrived and greeted us. He was very friendly and great in explaining things, he was also good in telling jokes. We were provided with shoes, masks, and life jackets. You don't need to be a great swimmer but you need to be a decent one. The experience of swimming in the cenotes was unbelievable!! I was a bit sick and that cold fresh pure water just cured me for the day! The water was so pure and transparent like I've never seen something like that before! Be informed that the water is very cold! I was in a bikini and I was very cold which unfortunately limited the amount of fun I had as I didn't stay long enough in the rivers. The organized tour takes an hour and then a delicious lunch is served to everyone. The meal consisted of a big portion of fresh Cesar salad, a big piece of chicken cooked with Mayan spices, and a side of rice and beans! I wasn't expecting such a nice lunch since it was included in the ticket price! There was also fresh juice, tea, coffee, water, and cookies all for FREE! After lunch, the visitors are free to tour the beautiful park and swim in the other open cenotes.
Five stars to our tour guide Cesar!! He was awesome!
