We came to Omni Pto Aventura during the last week of June, and it was a blast from day one to the last, the accommodations were superb as well as the one to one atencion given to the guest; from Jose, the nice man that takes care of the beach chairs to the great Monica, that will make sure that your drinks and food come to you at the right time, the place is secluded, far from the beaten path, just beautiful and conveniently located so you can launch your tours to other places of interest in the Riviera Maya, such as Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Pto Morelos, Isla Mujeres, etc. worth mentioning is Park Xoximilco located 5 mins away from Cancun airport, you'll enjoy it.
This resort is managed by the wonderful Solanche and she'll make sure that you return for more.

Diego & Maria Carreno.

Room Tip: Anything located on the 1st floor has a jacuzzi and hammock with a little garden.

This is a wonderful place! Having traveled extensively, this pleasant resort set in the small community of Puerto Aventura is definitely a relaxing family place. The community of in and out door restaurants, shops, and attractions surrounded by a community of very pleasant people is not only safe, but a very nice break from the confines of a traditional resort. Within minutes of the ruins, adventure parks, and noteworthy cities, this is a definite resort to consider. The staff is very accommodating and the food is wonderful.

Room Tip: There are only 30 rooms in this hotel...so it is hard to get anything but a good room....but since t...

We stayed the first 3 nights of our honeymoon here at the Omni. The service was fabulous from the time we arrived until the time we left. Our room had a private jacuzzi and hammock on our patio with incredible views! We ate our complimentary breakfast with our toes in the sand... it could not have been better! The location is prime-- a short drive north to Playa del Carmen and the ferry to cozumel, a short drive south and you are at the breathtaking ruins of Tulum. We ordered room service, drinks at the swim up bar, did breakfast upgrades and our bill was less than $80 when we checked out! Everything was surprisingly affordable. One night we ordered a movie and they brought fresh popcorn to our room!

Room Tip: the corner room on the lower level has a very private and large outdoor patio with a jacuzzi and ham...

We stayed at the Omni in June, and had a wonderful time. The "half-board" plan that gave us two meals a day inclusive was great for us, as we often had either lunch or dinner in Playa. The resort is small enough that you get to know the staff, they get to know you and your preferences, which makes for a much more pleasing experience than the giant resorts. The restaurant food was above average for an all inclusive, but the service made it special. The on-site Dive shop, Dive Aventuras, was excellent, Mike and Karen run a great operation and all our dives, plus our Whale-Shark excursion, were well planned and we wanted for nothing. If you are "done" with the large resorts with the food that tastes like cardboard, and the 1/2 mile walks to your rooms, try the Omni, it gives your vacation a felling of intimacy that you just don't find elsewhere.

Room Tip: If you want an ocean view room, ask for the third floor as the views are far better than the first o...

Roomy, very clean and great setting. We were so pleased with the area it is in that we bought a place in puerto adventures!
Staff was great and again you are in the middle of everything the maya riviera has to offer. Get a rental car so you can see all around unless you just want to lay at pool or beach. Restaurants nearby are all great with rotating nightly entertainers and they even have dolphins a few steps away to swim with if you so choose.
They would get more bang by charging less at restaurant, but there are many around to walk to if you want.

I am an scuba diver and love silent places…this is why this is a better alternative from my point of view that the Cancun city, This hotel have a very nice space for snorkeling in front of the pool, they built a wall to have a nice space for small children that looks very nice to have a family time-here you must be aware that the sea is a living space_ there some stingrays that come to the shore and need to look carefully your steps…I also like the cenotes to dive and to snorkel. Puerto aventuras have several options to enjoy this ten minutes distance. If you can ask for a room with sea view they are more silent that the others but even this have no problems for a good night. The service can be better but have some people with very good service attitude so it works…

Room Tip: As mention is a no place for swimming waves, just have an small beachfornt with a wall…is very good...

This place had great amenities. You own Jacuzzi (although it was weird and doesn't stay very filled), great balcony with hammock, bath robes with slippers and nice toiletries, comfy bed, pillow menu?, fridge, cable, A/C, wifi in room, giant pool, their own restaurant (although WAY overpriced), our breakfast was included (and was simple but quite good), their own clean beach with recliners and palapas (though the beach is extremely small). Our only gripe about this place is actually about Puerto Aventuras in general, which is that it is of course extremely touristy, white, and overpriced. If you want to visit MEXICO, do not come to this town. If you want a vacation spot with luxuries, nice beach, fancy meals, and the like, but do not mind high prices tags and super touristy things, this town has it all, and this hotel is certainly nice!
