We have not had better shrimp anywhere in town. Cooked perfectly, served wonderfully and delicious to the last bite, you won't be disappointed from the duck tacos to the creme brulee and cappuccino. You won't regret taking the time to stop by and enjoy the evening and Villa's great food.

I love this restaurant. I was first introduced to it by a friend who had their wedding here. It was so beautiful that we booked another trip to Ixtapa just to come eat here again. The food is delicious, especially the appetizer with the mango and avocado wrapped in jicama. The desert was just okay but the appetizers are to die for. We tried 4 of them and they were all delicious. The entrees were also very good. I love this restaurant. Get a reservation at sunset. Once the sun goes down the little crazy monkey things will come out in the trees that surround the restaurant. We love this place!!!

It was a Saturday evening, July 3rd, 2010. No reservations and on the recommendation of our cab driver, we came on a whim. It was one of the most memorable experiences as newlyweds. The veiw is spectacular. We chose a table under the canopy because of the drizzle. After dinner, we asked if we could walk down to a lower level terrace to get a better view of the ocean. They not only let us walk down, but they assembled another table for us alone on that level. At a later point in the night, the drizzle began and the staff came over to cover our wine glasses with coasters. Even though they repeatedly asked if we wanted to move back up, we did not. We ended the night dancing in the drizzle and the wait staff never left our sides despite the rain. Breathtaking experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Villa de la Selva. We were able to enjoy a fabulous sunset from the lower lever of the terrace. Wine list was extensive compared to other places around. I had a delicious tomato basil soup followed by the filet mignon. My husband had a caprese salad and the rib eye. We both enjoyed the food, service and ambiance.
