Description: Hey, we are a team of young people running this restaurant in puerto escondido. After 4 months of building up the place we are so happy to present you our beautiful "restaurancito" in la bajada de las brisas, Zicatela. This place is completely hand and homemade. We put up the walls..There was cardbord before, and we built up the bar, painted the whole place and tried to offer a nice atmosphere with lots of plants. We can actually cook everything for you, on the menu we basically have great fishtacos, Crepes, Mexican Food and delicious FruitShakes and TropicaJuices. We try to be very flexible and find out what our costumers really like. We just opened one year ago and so far we are really happy about the people that came to eat to our place. Since we are not on the mainstreet in zicatela..(You just have to go up the street direction "carretera" as if you would like to go to La Punta) we are not only focused in the tourism. We try to satisfy both sides..The Mexicans and people from all over the world. We do shopping in the morning and open at 03:00pm. We close at 10:00 pm. We keep our prices low since we dont wanna get rich with a few people. For us its nicer to have a great movement in our place and to get to know all diferent kind of people which are happy to come back again because they know that we offer quality and good prices. We are looking forward to see u in LA OLITA, oh and travel recomandations are for free.

Been searching Mexico for the feeling I got from these fish tacos. Nothing can compare to the excitement I got when they hit my taste buds. The mans girlfriend can also poor a mean juice.

“Best Fish Tacos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

We attempted to find this restaurant on Friday night but failed and then on Saturday looked it up again and found our way. The worst thing was that we missed on being able to eat here two nights in a row! We ordered the fish tacos that everyone raves about and I can see why. Not knowing how much to order all 3 of us ordered different tacos to share: fish, shrimp and mushroom. When they came it was a lot of food and we should have probably just had 1 order of tacos; however, each dish was so tasty that we (happily) managed to eat all of the food. The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere, good music, and a chill dog flopped on the floor. Everything about this place was fantastic, we all highly recommend it! So take the time to find it.

“What a great find! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

Just back from our second trip to la olita...had the most delicious cocktails and fish tacos with 37 ingredients! Definitely worth looking for, only two minutes from the Main Street to find this hidden gem! Run by such a love couple that accommodated out late arrival! It's a must do in puerto escondido!

Head to the end of the strip and turn left up the first main road, you'll find it on that road!

“Love it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Just returned from dinner at La Olita - we had fish and shrimp tacos Baja style, as well as coconut shrimps with mango salsa. Loved every bite and it was washed down brilliantly by a big jug of watermelon and pineapple juice. Can't recommend this fantastic little spot more - Graco and Sabrina are also great to chat to and get tips about what to do around Puerto! We will be back many more times in the next few weeks.

“Phenomenal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

The couple that serve and prepare your meals are fantastic, the chef speaks fluent spanish, portugese, french and english. The fish tacos are to die for and frankly everything we touched on the menu was delicious. We ate there 4 nights in a row and could have done more had we not been leaving Puerto. Our meals took 20 minutes to come out one busy night so the chef apologised and added an extra piece of fish to all our borritos. A class act and set to take off further in the coming years.
