The Santa Fe is a real gem. We ate there about three times on our second visit to puerto recently and everything was expertly prepared and fantastically fresh and tasty. You can taste the layers of cooking in every dish. We had the coriander soup - a take on Portuguese caldo verde that was refreshing and light - the ginger tamarind coconut shrimp, the oaxacan tamales, the fish of the day, the veggie burger (that my picky son enjoyed!), sampled the desserts and the tamarind margarita. Not a miss among them as usual. The food in PE is excellent in many places, but the Santa fe is in a league of its own.
