This simple and cosy trattoria offers quite a few more vegetarian dishes than the average local restaurants, on top of the usual traditional meat courses.
The hand made pasta had a corse feel to it and it was perfectly 'al dente'. My chestnut tortelloni had a creamy, soft centre which came as a pleasant surprise.
The many vegetable pies on offer (pumpkin, artichoke, carrot, etc) made the menu look very different from the other trattorias of this area and it was interesting to read that many products came from the business' personal allotment.
Very kind and modest service.
Worth going back.
