Reasonable size restaurant on the sea front with loads of parking outside.
The Decor looks a bit tired but the restaurant is very clean.
When we visited, the restaurant was not busy - just a nice buzz. A nearby competing restaurant in the town was packed.
There is a decent bit of room between the tables.
The staff were excellent, attentive but not rushing you when ordering etc.
I was mainly drinking Cobra which was well chilled and served in good tall glasses.
Menu had no real wow factors - just a very good selection of typical Indian fayre.
The food was tasty and came in reasonable portions.
The Naan bread was light and fluffy and served in quarters - saved you ripping a huge piece apart!
The food was served in copper / brass authetic bowls - which was a pleasant surprising touch.
The toilets were uninspiring.
We were served with a free shot of spirits at the end of our meal - always a nice touch.
£30-ish for 2 course meal with drinks and side dishes.
A real solid banker of a restaurant - perfect for a large group.
