“Terrible customer service.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2012 via mobile

Stayed a day in march. Area is very secluded and beautiful if you want some peace and quiet. I have no problems with the room or anything of that nature but the manage or owner and the employees were cold and had attitudes like we were bothering them and they were doing us a favor. I only went there cuz they offered a groupon deal and it seemed like they treated us like second class as soon as I showed the coupon. Manager just took my coupon and said coldly my room
Was upstairs. No hello or thank you. I had to ask him when breakfast was served since our coupon had it included. Coupon said we paid for deluxe room with fireplace but we were given a smaller room without fireplace. Would have complained if I wasn't so tired from a day of snowboarding and managers attitude made we wonder if I should even say something. We crossed paths with 4 employees all of which never said hi or even acknowledged us. Nobody offered us help when we were looking for there poolroom. Breakfast next morning was the same. Girl that worked there made all of us feel like we were bothering her. No smile like all those people you see that hate their jobs. We were told we couldn't sit where we wanted just so she didn't have to walk an extra 3 feet . We were so nice and said thank you every time she brought something only to be brushed aside with not even a smile or a your welcome. Food was garden variety continental breakfast with made to order eggs but not worth the 8 dollars. For the cherry on top, they didn't even thank us or ask how our stay was when we left. It's a beautiful charming place filled with ugly rude employees. Too bad. Will never recommend it or go back. There are so many places with better service in the tremblant area.

We went there during late autumn, in family.
We were pleased to receive an amazing service by the owners.
The place is wonderfull, the room was very comfortable.
Don't worry if the water is kind of brown-ish in your bath, they filter the lake water.
No problem at all.

Room Tip: Ask for a view on the lake.

A big thank you to Jacques and the staff. The food was very good. the lake tour in the canoe was fun. The room was neat and tidy everyday. A very nice atmosphere calm and friendly. View of the lake from our room. All in all a pleasant experience. Be prepared to drive a few kilometers on dirt road to get there. Kind of like camping with a zen touch. Merci encore.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2011

As our vacation time was coming to an end we decided to take it easy and just relax. Staying at the auberge was just wonderful. The owners are from France and were very welcoming. Dogs again are welcomed, they actually own a very beautiful back lab named Moka. She just loved hanging out with us and play with our 15 pound multi-poo. Who btw held his own in a tug a war with Moka. The rooms are very clean, the beds were not as comfortable, otherwise everything was perfect.. They do not have showers but baths only, I'm not used to showering in a bath, but it was a nice change. The food was delicious, I detest mushrooms, and here I was picking them off my daughters plate, what more can I say about the food??!! I'd go back just for that!
All around the auberge the attention to detail was impressive. It felt like you're in the middle of nowhere yet they had touches of elegance.
My kids are young but are very good swimmers and are not afraid to jump in the lake. Off they went with their lifejackets on, peddle boating, canoeing. At one point Moka jumped in the canoe with my daughter (my daughter calling her to come in with her), loving every minute of it, off they went paddling away. The lake is very clean and calm. They had several canoes, paddles, two peddle boats, lots of lifejackets, water skis and a motor boat. The kids enjoyed the freedom of being able to swim and play. Breathing in the fresh air, and just enjoying fun family active time. The auberge serves breakfast and supper only. No lunch. We had brought our cooler and had some drinks, fruits and snacks with us. So if the kids needed a little something before diner time I had food with me. At night the mosquitos would get pesty, nothing a little bug spray can't handle. They had a decent fitness area over looking the lake, they also provided wicker long chairs facing the lake. Not to mention very comfortable hamecks, They had a jacquzzi, also facing the lake. Since we are normally always on the go, we just hung out at the auberge, the view of the lake, the quiet, the calmness is just beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend it, if the batteries need some recharging !

If you're looking for a quiet place in the woods for relaxing, this is the place for you. We went there at the end of September for a wedding but we're thinking of going back next year. We still have to try the spa and go on the lake canoeing! Food was good (I had wild boar for the first time) and our room had a great view on the lake. Every room seems to have a jet bath and we slept very well.
