“Muy bien!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Was here with my daughter actually in August 2007, but the website only allows for one year...
At any rate, we came in the late afternoon and admission is discounted at that time...unlike Disney, which has a lot in English, Parque Warner is all in Spanish, but I understand a drop...the park is not as large as Disney, and the lines were much shorter...the rides / attractions were super, and my daughter, who was almost 9 at the time, and I, both had a great time. The only drawback--we keep Kosher, and almost no Kosher food in Spain, so we only had soft drinks there...I would definitely go there again if we visited Madrid again, and highly recommend going there for kids, kids with parents, and even adults without kids...you'll all have a great time!

“Some great rides, good day out.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Staying in Madrid centre we decided to visit Warner for the day by public transport. The lady in the tourist office was quite helpful and gave us a bus timetable. The Metro was easy to use and good value. A bit of a warning about the buses though - they don't run as often as we were led to believe! There were supposed to be at least 3 per hour until 4.00pm, well we waited 30-40 mins for one to take us to the park mid morning and heeded the warning about the finishing time. We left the park at 15.00 ensuring that we would be able to catch at least one of the remaining three buses but alas, not one turned up (yes, we were at the right bus stop) and after an hours' wait we had to get a taxi back (a very expensive affair). Entry to the park is approx 38 euros each although there are family tickets etc. available and a second day's entry was free. If you want to pay by credit card then you need a passport/driving licence as I.D. There is the obligatory bag search and no food or drink allowed to be taken in although bottles of water were acceptable. There are staggered opening times for some of the rides, some do not open until 12.30 and others not until 16.30 which is a shame if you are relying on public transport. We love big roller coasters and the Superman coaster was great fun with Batman and Stunt Fall coming a close second and third. Having to leave before the 16.30 rides was a bit annoying but we filled our time well with the other attractions. I feel the park is a one day visit, a bit like an up-market Thorpe Park, good rides, but lacking those little extras that make Universal and Disney so memorable.

“Enjoy like a child!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012 via mobile

Very nice place to go with kids or people who wants to have fun like a child! As the water is in a lot of distractions, please bring with you second close and bathingsooth.
Negative points: The entry is expensive, for the car, for people, but you can find discounts in burgerking! ;-)
You can not bring food with you. You must pay for it inside.
One day is enough although the entry for the second day is Free.
If you go, you will have fun, for sure!

“Worth the visit if you're into your white knuckle rides”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012 via mobile

Went on a Friday in August arriving at 2pm and headed straight to the super heroe world- this park has its fair share of rides for all tastes including some adrenaline pumping ones! Initially this area was very quiet and generally started to see an increase in visitors after 5pm at the other worlds. When at wild west - be warned if you want to ride the wooden coaster if you are a woman or a heavier bloke - you will need a sports bra! In hindsight I would have given this a missbecause it is far too rickety a ride and not at all enjoyable.
The park would also benefit from maps and leaflets in English - just like Disney offers! Poor English translation was evident at a sign near the batman ride where instead of saying something like ' min height of solo rider' - it said 'killing only'- this is a very poor reflection on WB!

As we got a 2 for 1 voucher at McDonalds - we were glad as we had a non-rider in the party. Also we were offered a free return the following day at the park- but we declined given that we had ridden all the rides that we wanted- plus the fact that none of the shows are presented in English! I think WB could learn a lot from Disney. Also it would be better to have characters walking around and mingling with visitors rather than just driving past!

“Great rides lots of fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

Very easy to get on everything as although it was a Thursday in the middle of August it didnt seem that busy. Look out for money off vouchers. We got 10 euros each off entry from a book of vouchers we received on the hop on hop off bus tour. We made the mistake of going in to a couple of the inside attractions but of course everything was in Spanish so we understood only a liitle of what was going on. Stick to the rollercoasters etc unless you know the language. Be careful with the buses as only certain ones go all the way to the park and then all the way back in to Madrid.
