Hotel is a sort of modernish style renovated old hotel very near the heart of Puebla with attendant loud noise throughout the night. In the mornings somebody somewhere is playing loud tinny music.
The rooms are v large and a little eccentric- no desk for example. I didn't find an easy way to control the temperature- there is a unit in the room. Night temp is 40 degrees and day is around 75 or 80. They renovators were liberal with their use of raw cement; on the stairs for example. It IS a look but not very appealing to my eye.
The shower is wonderful -worth $10 right there.
Kind bed is ok -a little saggy on the sides.
Don;t expect international service (eg no English speakers when I arrived in the evening) and you'll be fine here.
