“great day of surfing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

Our family of 4 spent the day at Los Cerritos with Roy and Rafael as surf instructors. Roy and Rafael were safe, patient, encouraging and fun. The Costa Azul equipment was new and in good condition and our teenage boys tried out different boards. We are novice surfers (adults) (our boys are more intermediate) and we highly recommend this surf shop. An unexpected bonus were the pictures that Joe took while we surfed. I thought the photos would be just another money grab, but the photos ended up being so beautiful and captured us and the fabulous back ground as well as the spirit of our outing that we bought the CD. This surf shop makes us want to return to San Jose del Cabo.

“Awesome Surf Shop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

Came to Cabo for a wedding, saw some breaks and decided to check out this surf shop for some info. Guy working there was totally cool and we rented boards from him. They have a map outside the surf shop with all of the local breaks in the area. Getting to the breaks seem to be the key since most of the shoreline near the area are either hotels or private properties. Got out to Monuments which is a little outside of downtown Cabo San Lucas area...parked in a dirt lot for 10 pesos, talked to a hustler who got us a boat since it seemed too far to walk to from where we parked. Don't bother talking to anyone else like taxi drivers or street hustlers about surfing...talk to these guys.

“Beautiful accommodations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013 via mobile

We loved the Beautiful spacious room of the 1 bedroom unit. Whole staff was gracious & very accommodating. Public spaces are opulently understated. Only draw back was the lack of adequate lighting in the bathroom & extremely poor internet service. Do not waste your money on paying extra for internet.

“3 great surf breaks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

3 breaks within paddling distance each for different riding styles. Just have to be careful at low tide for rocks. There is a public parking lot above Cabo surf hotel with a stairway that goes to the beach & thru a tunnel. Definitely rent a board from Costa Azul surf shop across the street. $20 a day & less for multiple days including soft racks. Others I asked were almost twice as much & had soft top boards. Very honest too. They used 12.5 pesos per dollar instead of 13 like others & they pointed out a ding that I didn't see on the rental board.
