“New favourite place for tacos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

We stay in San Jose del Cabo at least twice a year. The food that is cooked up and served here is so fresh, and just slightly different than the other classic taco places in town. The coleslaw that is served as a side is so good, I could it eat on its own. The service is friendly and prompt, and the beer is cold and inexpensive. The owner speaks Spanish and English, and the clientele are a mix of tourists and locals. The only downside is that you can't walk there from downtown as it is at the marina. If you don't have a vehicle, grab a cab. It is worth it!! I would eat there everyday if possible.

“Great Find!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

My wife and I enjoyed lunch here. We sat upstairs. This restaurant is on the edge of the new Puerto Los Cabos Marina which is developing relatively slowly(a good thing). The restaurant sits on the main road going to the El Ganzo Hotel and the fishing village. The view is quite nice looking across the new marina and the mountain range. You sit in plastic chairs with nice table cloths. Service was quick and everyone spoke english.

My wife had the fish tacos while I enjoyed the shrimp enchiladas with a side of french fries along with two skinny Margaritas all for a whopping $335 pesos.

Flavors were great, lots of fresh veggies.

We will go back for sure.

“Our Favorite meal of the Week!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

This is my first review of any restaurant on Trip Advisor, and the quality and value of our meal prompted it.
My wife and I grabbed a great seat up top looking out at the marina and was greeted by Jonathan our server. He was prompt and polite and gave us the low down on the menu. Jonathan mentioned that the fish taco's put them on the map, but we should try the Wednesday special (available everyday due to popularity) the shrimp enchilada's. We ordered both, and were amazed at the enchilada's. The Verde sauce was exceptional, they had corn in them, bay shrimp, topped with sour cream and cilantro. The sides were beans and a coconut rice that exceeded expectations. The rice had pineapple in it, and paired perfectly with the enchilada's.
Overall, just a great meal, total price for 2 drinks, 4 taco's and enchilada's was around $30 with 25% tip. Taco's are 20 pesos. Unforgettable meal, unassuming place that was exactly what we were looking for and wouldn't have found without Trip Advisor. This is a must eat at for people who like dives, local spoons, hole in the wall type places. It is not fancy or pretentious at all. Go enjoy it, and check out Flora's Field Kitchen while you're out that way. There is a sign at one of the turnabouts to their location, another must do! Enjoy and Cheers!

“What an authentic find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

We are staying at El Ganzo and I have read in the reviews of our hotel to walk down the street and have lunch here. Oh my freakin God, is this real?! We were in awe of this place. We had 4 coronas, a shrimp burger and 2 tacos for $18 usd - what!!! Is this possible? Our food was so good - so fresh! Best fish tacos ever! The place is a hot spot with the locals - always a good sign! Fabulous view of the marina also. This is a neighborhood I want to own property in so I can walk to this place all the time. Service was friendly and it's obvious owner knows what they are doing!!!
