We had an unbelievable honeymoon experience here! We got a great deal online and went with an inexpensive upgrade and could not have been more pleased. The food was fabulous, the service was unbelievable, and the pool -- so relaxing! I can't wait to go back for an anniversary -- it doesn't get any better than this. WOW!

We made last minute reservations Friday night left Saturday morning to miss the storm coming into San Diego. We have a two and halfyear old and a one and ahalf year old boys. We purchased three tickets on Aero Maybe(Mexico) and sat the young one on ourlap which wasn't a problem since there was plenty of seats open. They did charge us a tax both ways on the infant which I had never heard of which was about 75 dollars total. We took the shuttle after getting through the sharks.Just keep going to the front try to get a shuttle that is close to full so you dont stand around for twenty minutes waiting for the driver to fill up his van. Typical drive in mexico(scarry) but we soon arrived at the Hilton and the vacation began. I was impressed by the facilities and the service was great. We basically hung by the childrens pool and had pool service which was incredible. The swim up sushi bar suprised me it was delicious. The beach sand is a little course but not that bad wear some sandals. I went through the timeshare sales pitch which if you have the time why not. We recieved about two hundred dollars worth of discounts e.g 120$ offmy golf at El Dorado(unbelievable) and about 80 dollars off my wifes spa treatments which she says were awesome. Plus two 21 dollar buffet breakfasts all for 90 minutes of hard sales pitch" just say no" at the end and off you go. We travel baja quite a bit this was definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The food choices are a little narrow after a few days so plan on eating in town. We rented a car real easy all done right on the premises. Will definitely go again.

The Summer of 2004 in Los Cabos
My wife and I, a trip we did take
We decided to stay at the Hilton
By it’s awesome pool we did bake

They gave us a free upgrade
To a room with a balcony and ocean view
We took advantage of the Jacuzzi
It was like a dream come true

The Infinity pool took our breath away
And the food it made us smile
We enjoyed many drinks by the day
And at night, danced away with style

They poured Tequila down our throats
And put cervezas in our hands
We forgot our feet were burning
From the heated caustic sands

Some things that we fell in love with
From the items that we tried
The ATVs, just awesome
With the ocean by your side

We also went deep-sea fishing
And got sick as I turned blue
Just call us landlubbers
To that we prefer “Nobu”

So take my advice with caution
The trip cost us many pennies
We would do it again in a heartbeat
But maybe have breakfast at a Denny’s

Last thing I will add
Is to take advantage of the sells
Just listen for an hour
And save dinero on your bills

Just returned from a week at the Hilton. My boyfriend and I stayed during Dec. 25th thru Jan. 1st. Everything was fantastic. It was an easy trip from the airport taking the shuttle service for only $10 a person. We were dropped off first which was great and were greeted with Marguerites immediately. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed away from the time share people; so we were not bothered by them at all. We had a great room with a partial ocean view which was perfect because it was off in the corner of the hotel away from the pool and restaurant so it was very quiet and yet still had an amazing view of the ocean and mountains. The infinity pool is marvelous but even more exceptional at night around 7pm when there are just a few people out by the pool. It’s very romantic and great for star gazing. And the Jacuzzi is open 24 hours. During the day the pool is extremely crowded. Don't tip the pool guy because you are still not guaranteed a pool chair. You have to claim your spot by 7am to get one. At least during the busy season you do. Other than that everything was great. The tacos by the pool at lunch were very yummy and their quesadillas are the best we have ever had. We were pleasantly surprised with just how tasty the food at the Hilton was.
Also the location is great for activities. You are about 10mins. from San Jose, which is the most charming town ever with the best restaurants. And about 15 mins. from San Lucas which has a more Spring Break kind of feel to it. But it is fun to at least go to Cabo Wabo to experience it. Must make reservations for all dinners and Karina from the concierge is very helpful. Also shopping in San Jose is better.
If you play golf the Hilton is in a perfect spot. All the best courses are just a quick taxi away. We played three days at Palmilla and the staff there were great. Not to mention the pull pork sandwich and the homemade choc. chip cookie for two. And the course is unbelievable. Every hole is a work of art.
I also recommend the Baja ATV tour. It takes a little while for them to shuttle you out to where you start but it is worth it. Once you get to the beach they let you roam free for about 45 mins. This way you can play around and go as fast or as slow as you would like.
The only thing we were not that impressed by was the Spa at the Hilton. We had a Swedish massage and it was a bit weak. Not the greatest.
Other than that the Hilton was a wonderful place for us to spend the holidays and they do a great New Year's Eve fireworks display. The best on the beach.
We would defiantly return to the Hilton.

The good news about this property is that the staff is uniformly caring, gracious, and extending of themselves. The hotel is on a nice spot in between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose. We did not care much for the Key West quality of Cabo San Lucas but found San Jose charming. A car is essential

This is good value for what you pay assuming you are not gouged during a high season vacation week when the rooms are clearly pricier.
We booked two rooms the week leading up to Christmas Day and they were nice though the rooms close to the restaurant are a bit noisy.

We had two connecting rooms and then switched since one room was handicapped equipped which unfortunately meant a shower with a drain that did not function and which resulted in water spilling out on the marble floor....one infinity pool is enough and it is outside of the sleeping quarters.

They do not disclose the 10% additional service charge over and above taxes . When I asked what this was for, was told maintenance and telephone operators etc. The 15% tax and additional 10% service charge adds 25% to your bill.

The pools are nice and when busy, people do go out early and reerve a chair though we never had difficulty getting a spot. The staff are extremely well meaning and try to do whatever possiblt to make the stay special. It is NOT a Four Seasons or Ritz but you are not paying for that type of property. The next bump up in hotel type is a considerable jump in price.

The property works but there are kinks which get bothersome after a few days. The tennis courts are not well maintained though they have a pro whose time you can rent and he is very gracious. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide water at the courts and this is ridiculous given the weather.

The timeshare lecture is probably worth the 75 minutes as it gets various coupons towards activties in the area though they do not tell you that you need to commit to the activities at the precise time you take the tour so it requires planning. They serve a nice breakfast as part of the time share shpiel

Rooms were comfortable and the housekeeping always attentive .

The breakfast buffet is a feast and well stocked across the board.

The $10 charge to use the "gym" is ridiculous and annoying as they have inadequate amounts of equipment.

The main problem with the property is the HORRIBLE service at poolside at restaurants. Mr Adame tries to run a tight ship but our orders were always wrong and late and the food was not inexpensive. At $10 for a burger , $7.50 for a large bottle of water or $3.50 for a small one , they need to do better. They apologized profusely but this got stale and we resented the day in day out delays and wrong orders. A pathetic performance for this property in this area of the hotel service

Concierge ( Pablo and Karina) are enormously helpful and are an enormous resource.

Pools are nice but the 10:30 AM aerobics in the "quiet pool" with music blasting is distracting if you are trying to read and relax.

This is a nice place and I would return. The people are polite, courteous, and are genuinely interested in making the stay a pleasant one. But, the lack of oversite of the service aspects of the hotel make it less than a signature property.
