WOW! That is all I can say! This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to! From the views to the staff I cannot rave enough! We were upgraded upon arrival to room 5057 and it was perfect! We had the most amazing sunrise from our balcony! The welcome margaritas were delicious! The decor of the room was on point with the Mexican theme. We headed to the pool which is where we spent everyday for 7 days! The view from the pool was fantastic. Plenty of space for everyone. Daily massages (complementary 5 minutes), cold towels, reading materials, and popsicles were brought around free of charge by the staff. Jorge was a joy to talk too! The poolside service was great and the nachos were addictive! The drinks were stout and easy flowing. All the restaurants were amazing although the food was amazing it was a bit expensive but it is better than paying the $25 taxi each way in to Cabo San Lucas. The beach was close but not close enough to really get cozy because no service (that we saw) and no bathrooms to use. The water was cold and a bit choppy but they have it roped off to swim. Internet worked by the pool and because we are Diamond members they billed us then took it off at the end of our stay. The happy hour drinks were great at the bar (the one on the 3rd floor with the fish tanks). The only con that I can say is that is isn't close to anything. If you are looking for something within walking distance to things then this is not the place to go. My husband and I will be back again and cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!!

Room Tip: Room 5057 was perfect to view everything from the sunrise to the pool!

We stayed six nights (January 9th-15th 2014) and wished we could have stayed longer. All the positive comments you read are spot on with regard to this property. The rooms are fantastic and views are awesome.

If you don't mind paying for quality and charging it to your room like any other premium hotel it's perfect. Don't compare to an all-inclusive resort, it's a different experience. It's also very quiet here after the two pool restaurant/bars close up at 6PM. If you want nightlife activities, take a taxi to Cabo San Lucas. Come here to relax.

The service was exceptional as mentioned many times already. We ate at all the restaurants during our stay and particularly enjoyed having the sushi, pizzas and dinner at El Meson. The mariachi band and fresh made salsa at our table at El Meson made for our most memorable meal during our stay.

Recommend Happy Hour (5-6PM) at La Vista, you get free appetizers and the certain drinks are half price. If you are an early riser, there are free coffee and small pastries between 5-7AM in the lobby.

The hotel was not full, so it was very easy to find a lounge chair about anywhere you wanted. See my foot photo of our favorite place.

The bus stop to both cities/grocery stores/shopping is an easy walk up the drive, past the gates. Recommend taking a taxi to the airport on your way home. It's only $35 and bell hop can have one there in a minute. We met a lot of people, some took taxis to activities, and others the bus and some rented cars. It comes down to your personal preference.

Complaints? None/zero. We read all of them from the past months and didn't experience anything negative. We had a partial ocean view and were fine with that, but if an ocean view is important, please pay the extra. There is always work going on at the Hilton to improve it. We said "hi" to the guys installing cable for the internet on our floor (I assume). Great, glad to see that going on.

Last but not least, the whales. There were dozens swimming and some even breaching right there in front of you as you sit in the infinity pool.

This resort never disappoints! Hotel seems to get better and better. My wife and i have chosen this resort as our official anniversary vacation location. The staff is outstanding and very professional. Food is amazing, we only ate at El Meson for dinner and breakfast while we were here. Look for the whales, they swim near the resort at times.

How to get here?
There are different ways to get here (from SJD airport). Transcabo shuttle charges $15 pp one way and requires advanced reservations. Taxis are around $70 one way.
I rented a car from Fox rental for $19 a day with liability insurance included ( right from their website). Don't worry about driving, its very easy to navigate the roads and drivers around here are not aggressive.

Kudos to the Manager and all the professionals that make this place special!
Personal thanks to Clemente and Delphino at El meson for the great service during breakfast (outstanding job)!

I've stayed at this property about 6 times over the last dozen years or so. Usually over a period of time, I tend to notice some wear and tear and need for refurbishment in most properties, but this one has been exceptionally well-maintained.

As drbridges stated, it may be a "your typical Hilton Resort", but in my opinion that sells this property a bit short unless you're used to the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton's and the like. Even at that, I've stayed at Ritz Carlton's that had nothing on this property..

The setting here is very, very nice. The design is beautiful. The grounds are exceptionally well-manicured and the overall, the property is superbly maintained and very clean. It's a very comfortable atmosphere to be in. Great views of the ocean from the dining room and pool areas.

The room decor is very pleasing with a large bathroom with separate, roomy shower and tub. Lots of room. Nice linens and towels. Comfortable beds. Great view if you're on the ocean side.

I was only to have breakfast but the buffet was certainly two or three notches above the typical hotel buffet. Excellent and very gracious service.

I think a lot of the Caribbean resorts that I've stayed at could learn a lot from this property in terms of customer service and staff training. Everyone that I encountered here was beyond pleasant, helpful and friendly.

I could not pick about the coffee being a little less hot that it should be, but that's about all I can think of from my brief stay.

If the. Hilton level of resorts is to your liking and you want to go to Mexico where it's quite safe, clean and beautiful, I don't see how you will be disappointed in this property.

Room Tip: Don't skimp. Get one on the ocean side.

This hotel has great service and absolutely beautiful rooms with a gorgeous view.
I just wanted to say thank you so much to every single member of your staff, and a very special thanks to Felipe Jara (bartender @ the lounge bar) and Pablo (concierge) who made our vacation so pleasant.
Cabo is one of our favorite destinations from now on....

I found the staff to be friendly, professional and very accommodating. The grounds were very beautiful and well maintained. I had a full ocean view junior suite that was fabulous. There was some construction going on that was a little annoying, but not over the top. Nice pool and very comfortable lounge chairs. Dining was good… both breakfast and well their very nice Italian restaurant.
