Arrived yesterday for 6 day stay. Diamond member for many years, 2nd stay here. Booked 6 months ago,and I understand hotel is 100% full day we arrived. Given room 2061 with view of arroyo (ditch), and maintenance building. May possibly be the worst room in the property. Requested room change but not successful. (Yet). We did not come 1500 miles for this. Hopefully better rooms open up.

We are paying full rate for 4 nights, using points for 2 nights. As I see the GM is always responsive to posts here, I am optimistic good things may still happen here.

Food was fantastic yesterday (sea bass in the fish tacos poolside) and service and overall property experience is still top rate.

Regardless of our opening hiccup, we are primed for a good week and will certainly enjoy the facility.

It's our first trip to Cabo, but I don't think we will ever choose any other hotel after this experience. Hilton's Los Cabos Resort exceeded our expectations is all ways. The food at the Pool Grills and the Italian Restaurant was delicious. THe service throughout the resort was the best we have had Anywhere ....and we have stayed at Ritz, Four seasons...etc. We rented a car which was nice because this resort is away from the downtown areas of Cabo and San Jose...so it was nice to be able to drive in for meals. The hotel made a mini fridge available so we could keep milk and fruit in the room. Very clean pool area, common areas and nice rooms .. All have a view.
The prices At the resort for food are higher than in town, you have to pay for Internet service, and there is no coffee pot in the room. We visited during Spring Break...so one drawback was the crazy dash for the prime spots around the pool at 6am...and the insanity of people who saved 4 to 6 Chairs for others. The hotel staff tried to help keep it peaceful...but some people will ruin the fun anywhere they go... the hotel had many additional activities for little children because it was spring break...they did a great job.

Room Tip: Floor three is busy with traffic on some areas....our room on fourth floor was great...

We loved everything about the resort. Beautiful grounds, wonderful service, great beach and pool. The breakfast buffet was good, great service and beautiful views looking out over the pool and beach. The service by the pool was good, but make sure you get up early to stake out your chairs or you won't have anywhere to sit. The poolside food and drinks were great. We loved just sitting looking at the beautiful views watching the ocean and spotting whales. We saw whales everyday. It was perfect! Great weather everyday- blue skies and hot with a steady breeze cooling us off. Our only complaint is the horses at the beach. They appeared to be mistreated as they are out in the sun all day and we NEVER saw them given any water. It seemed so cruel. I don't know how the hotel management allows this at their beach. We hope to visit again. This is a great place!

The hotel has a very good localization an all the rooms face the ocean with a nice view. The hotel staff is very polite and always trying to make your stay the best possible. The room is nice with a huge bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. There are a couple of restaurants inside the hotel and the food is good but not excellent. The best one is the Fenicia. The oter ones re ok, but restaurants are not a problem, once you have do many options in Los Cabos and the hotel concierge will arrange you anything you need! There is also a hotel spa with works fine. Manicure is not good, but massages are very nice! I stayed in the hotel for 6 days and if I came back to Los cabos I'd stay here again for sure!

We just returned Thursday and the Hilton was beautiful! Bedsides the whales breaching and playing off the beach everyday and the gorgeous weather, Luis and the staff at El Meson were terrific! We ate at other places in and out of the hotel and Luis by far provided the the best service and they all worked together to make a great dining experience.

There were families, singles, and couples of all ages at the resort and no group was overbearing. We would definitely return to the Hilton.

Room Tip: I think all of the rooms have a view of the ocean!

I loved the hotel and everything about it. The margarita upon arrival is amazing. I just wished I had more info on where to enjoy some shopping. It was a really great place to stay. We ate in all of the restaurants and we loved staying poolside. It only rained one day but it quickly changed to sunshine. The sand is soft and the staff is wonderful. Be sure to get drinks during happy hour to save some money!

We apologize that you were not as informed as you could have been regarding places to shop around our resort. On-site, we have two great options for shopping, La Tienda and the Deli. In San Jose del Cabo there is great shopping along the main drag, Ignacio Zaragoza. In Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Paraiso and Marina Cabo San Lucas provide seemingly endless shopping and entertainment options. We hope you’ll keep these in mind the next time you stay with us!

My wife and I travel to Cabo every year and traditional stay in Cabo San Lucas either at Pedregal or one of the resort close to the city, but this time we want to try to stay out in the Corridor for a few days. Since we are Hilton HHonors members, we decided to check out the Hilton and found the rates to be very reasonable for what we would consider a more higher-end resort (or as another reviewer stated, better than your typical Hilton). When we arrived, we were actually upgraded to a top floor room with a dynamite ocean view. The main pool is beautiful and we even discovered it is used in the current Hilton Honors Credit Card commercial. There was a ton of kids and activity at the main pool, so my wife wanted to try the more private pool at the North side of the property and they had a separate bar and outside restuarant that made it very convenient for drinking and eating throughout the day while we were laying around in the sun. We only stayed 4 days at this property, but found all the restuarants more than satisfactory. No matter where we went on the property from the little sandwich shop/store to the main bar to the different restaurants, we found the staff to always be very attentive and friendly and we had no complaints and so this certainly exceeded our expectations for a Hilton property. This is certainly no One and Only Palmilla or Capella Pedregal, but for the price, we felt like we got a great bargain and an thoroughly enjoyable experience at the Hilton.
