“Hilton did it again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

Just back from our 8th stay at the Cabo Hilton. We have stayed at other places that are good but the Hilton really takes your vacation to another level. They really do look for opportunities to exceed your expectations. The service is just outstanding. Love the long days by the pool - drinks to order, great food and views. As for the save the chair complaints, no biggie. I becomes a part of your routine and there are ALWAYS charis open at the second pool if you dont get 50 yard line at main pool so get over it. we had a group of 7 people and always got chairs together with little stress. Jorge (of the jungle) is always a welcome face by the pool, he really really loves his job and that is such a treat for guests by the pool. Hotel was clean as always, housekeeping was quick and effective, comfy beds...it's just all so good!

If i had to find something to call an opportunity it would be options for dinner at resort - but really dont mind since we like to go out anyway but the eveinging food is no where near as good as breakfast and pool food. And im sure in an effort to cut costs, the in room products changed (used to LOVE the L'occitane!) and wine list was bluesy but i'll take that over compromised service any day.

There is NO DOUBT we will stay at this hotel again and very much look forward to it - THANK YOU to the Hilton team for always making us feel like we have returned to our home in paradise every time!!

Room Tip: all rooms have ocean views so you cant go wrong

Thank you so much for the stellar review! If we can enhance your vacation in any way we will. Jorge of the Jungle is quite the popular guy over here, and along with our other staff members goes the extra mile to make sure our guests are having a wonderful time during their stay. We so look forward to your return. Ninth stay is the charm!

We just got back from yet another vacation at the Hilton Los Cabos. It is the only place we ever stay when we visit, this was probably our 12th trip or so.

Upon arrival, we found out we were upgraded to room 6037, a deluxe ocean front and resort view on the very top floor! You must request this room! The view of the ocean goes on forever! You also see much of the resort but the only sounds you will hear are the birds and the pounding waves! Gorgeous room!

We are creatures of habit when at the Hilton Los Cabos and have all our dinners at El Meson. The atmosphere is so warm, the outdoor seating and lighting is very romantic and the service is top notch. When you meet Juan Carlos and Ricardo, they will greet you with a big smile and treat you like they have known you forever. When you meet Luis, you will fall in love with him and the service he provides. I got anything I wanted, cooked how I wanted and we always had a skinny margarita by our sides! Luis remembers everything! Can't wait to go back, they always remember us.

The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are gorgeous, when you go to La Vista bar you will flip at the views. The gym is great too! It was usually a bit crowded until about 9 or 9:30 in the morning, so we slept in, took a long beach walk on the beautiful beach, had breakfast and by that time we had the gym almost to ourselves! Oh, and if you do treat yourself to a poolside drink you must try the pomegranate margaritas, either frozen or on the rocks!

We have been depressed since we got home. You will not be disappointed in anyway!

Room Tip: Ask for room 6037!

This hotel is the best for couples with kids. You can have a romantic time while kids have play in the pool and play soccer.

This has to be the premier resort in the Hilton chain. You want for nothing, the staff is super friendly and knowledgable. The food is fantastic, the views are fantastic and the weather is great!

I'm a Hilton Diamond member and used points to stay here, requesting a king jr suite oceanfront. On the 3rd floor dead center between the palms, had an awesome view of the ocean. We got breakfast vouchers for each day of our stay, that gave us the standard continental breakfast, for $8 more, you could upgrade that for the hot breakfast, which included all manner of yummy food. Internet free for diamond members and readily accessible all over the property, including by the pool. 2 Bottles of water brought to our room everyday. They offer coffee in the lobby for the early birds, that gets packed up around 7 AM for the breakfast time. Speaking of water, I drank the regular water (not bottled) in the restaurant and the fitness center and did just fine. Speaking of drinking we picked up a bottle of vodka at LAX duty free on the way out and took it to our room. Mixed it with fruit juice we bought at the gift shop on property and saved a load of money on drinks. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and hotel staff made it a point to greet us in our room with balloons and towel swans, along with a cheese plate and a bottle of wine, really made it special!
The pool was awesome, people go down early in AM to claim the choice spots by laying towels, books, and magazines down. Plenty of umbrellas to go around, pool service was awesome, and the food they serve is really good. Spaced out and missed the ceviche class in the afternoon, darnit! Ask for the fish tacos and the fish & shrimp ceviche when you hang by the pool. Have a margarita at the main restaurant (where they serve breakfast) later in the evening with dinner - they were delicious. We ate dinner in the restaurants on property and the food was prepared really well, service was awesome, the staff really friendly. Reasonably priced considering we were in a nice resort. The beach is fun to walk on, but water is pretty rough, unless you are some kind of he-man muscle person I wouldn't try it out. There is a spot on the beach where you can rent jetskis, go on cruises, etc. if you like.
Fitness center well equipped with all the particulars, water and towels available, open 24x7.
Got a massage in the spa. It's laid out a little weird, small and compact, but I had an awesome massage and really didn't care about the rest of it. Lots of 'resting' areas to go hang out in, drink tea, and goo out. Rita did my massage and did an awesome job!
I've stayed at the One&Only and it's a beautiful property but so expensive compared to this experience, plus I couldn't beat the perks included with my diamond status (free internet, free breakfast). My husband asked me if I would go back and stay at the Hilton again, and I said definitely YES!

Room Tip: Ask for high floor.

I just heard some GM of a hotel on television say that most people go onto TripAdvisor to complain. My review is the EXACT opposite of what he said. The Hilton Los Cabos Resort was one of the most amazing places that we have ever stayed. My husband's work had a national seminar planned there for several days. We decided to make a family vacation out of this seminar. We were so glad that we did. The staff at the Hilton Los Cabos was the most attentive staff we have ever encountered ... anywhere. No matter what you needed, there was someone there to assist you. Whether you needed towels, hangers, drinks, food, directions...someone was available to meet your needs. The beach was very rocky and rough but the infinity pool was just fantastic. The beach lounge chair covers were changed daily and the beach towels were plentiful and smelled so fresh and clean. Each day, a friendly staff member would circulate around the pool offering grapes in the morning (along with magazines and books); next he would come by offering eucalyptis infused towels for your face; next time round was cold water misting for your face; and finally (and everyone's favorite) around 3:30 everyday he would offer everyone fresh fruit ice pops -- lemon, mango, pineapple, watermelon, or guava. Everyone looked forward to his visits!! In addition to him, you also had two very eager servers bringing you drinks or food, quick and efficiently. The pool also offered a swim up bar where you could eat and drink also. And, by the way, the food there was great. Very fresh Mexican favorites like fish tacos and guacamole. As others mentioned this Hotel is in between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. Both cities were fun so make it a point to see them while you are there. The hawkers selling jewelry (don't buy because even though it says it is real silver, it isn't) and timeshares were annoying but the cities were fun regardless. Cabo Wabo (Sammy Hagar's place) was fun but a tourist mecca. My husband and daughter scuba dove while we were in Mexico. They used the Manta Dive Shop and were VERY happy with them too. All in all, our trip was fun. Mostly because of the Hilton Los Cabos. DO NOT HESITATE to stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for the extended balcony room. We did and it was worth every extra penny
