We have had many great experiences eating Boston Dogs at the SJD airport. The food is always fresh and the quality is so much better than what you typically get at any airport. Marc and his staff are very welcoming and fun to be around, too! Even though we hate leaving Cabo, eating at Boston Dogs on our way home always makes us smile. My husband, being from the northeast, loves the authentic-tasting dogs and I actually really love the fish taco plate. Not what you'd expect at a hot dog restaurant, but they are really good! The fish has always been really fresh and you can get a real salad there - not the pathetic pre-made wilting iceberg lettuce you usually find in an airport. Also, if you eat gluten-free, the staff will make you a hot dog plate without the bun and you won't even miss it. Good stuff. Thanks Marc!

I enjoyed eating at Boston Dogs at the Cabo airport. We were influenced by the Trip Advisor rating as well as the free samples of french fries and fresh potato chips the owner personally handed out. The owner was very friendly and it was a pleasure speaking with him (even if he was a Red Sox fan - i'll let it slide! :) ) The fries are delicious and the freshly made fish tacos were very good. I am glad to have gotten a meal there before my flight instead of opting for the Subway next door. The owner's personal touch made all the difference. I highly recommend Boston Dogs and will look forward to returning if I find myself back in Cabo again.

I have been travelling to Cabo San Lucas for 15 years for my business. I am part owner of a large corperation in the states and in Mexico. For years SJD Airport had a very poor selection of food concessions in the airport. Five years ago I started flying US Airways out of Terminal 1. Long to behold 5 years ago Boston Dogs opened their first location in the food court in Terminal 1. Everytime I travel threw, the owner Marc Kagan is out infront of his concession working and busting his butt promoting his business. His is surrounded by other fast food chains that have the deep pockets for international marketing and draws the victims in. I have tasted almost every item on the menu and I must say ¨"Better then moms home cooked meals" sorry mom!!!. Every item is cooked fresh not frozen, like Marc say´s "If you like frozen food, enjoy the other concessions". Today, I had their Bagel Breakfast Sandwich with fresh cooked bacon, eggs, and cheese. I had on the side homemade cut fries and a fresh brewed cup of coffee. Not the high overpriced coffee from that chain that you find on every street corner. I
I started using tripadvisor after Marc told me the new information about the SJD airport. Starting in Jan I will not have access to Boston Dogs when I travel due to GAP (owners of the airport) built a new terminal and will not allow Boston Dogs or any of the other concessions in the new terminal, just the ones that agreed to be raped by GAP on the hig rent and key money to be able to be in the airport. Key Money is free money given to GAP as a gift to have a location and I mean big free money for their pockets. I guess money talks over quility service. To say the least I will be flying my staff and support crews out of the Cabo Airport and not SJD.
On the lighter note, Marc is building his Boston Dogs outside of the airport in San Jose, and in Mexico City, so all the people who have been locked out by greed of GAP, can enjoy their Boston Dogs in a more relaxed location. Also not the high prices that the airport has to charge.
Getting back to the good side of Boston Dogs, their staff is family Rosy behind the cash register is like sunshine always a smile and a thank you and a breath of fresh air. She makes sure everything is done right. Rafa her son is a great chef, he makes sure your breakfast is cooked to perfection. If you want it and is not on the menu, he will make it for you. Usually I am there for lunch when I can enjoy their hotdog combo with the fresh cut fries or chips. I always have one beef taco on the side. Their beef is fresh cut Top Sirlon Steak with home made salsa and pico de giao on the side. I upgrade all my combos with a homemade strawberry shake. What a way to end my business trip to Cabo. Wish they had these in the states. I must say to the owners of the airport, what a loss on your behalf. As a major business owner you have missed the boat, in this case a plane. Money can´t buy you happiness, but in your case greed.

I flew out on Thanksgiving day 2012 and I had some pesos to get rid of and I saw thi place and decided to have two dogs one chil and the other with onions pickled jalapenos and ketchup. I decided to eat the chil dog first as the chili they told me was homemade and in a crock pot and it was so good i had to have them put chili on my other dog. What a delightful surprise and it had a little zip as well!!
