Stunning, Stunning, Stunning! This is absolutely the most beautiful, amazing resort my husband and I have ever been to! The ambiance of 2000 candles glowing every evening will take your breathe away. The entire staff is extremely professional. Starting with the management, director of celebrations, butlers and pool attendants. The rooms are so very elegant. Every aspect of this resort is magnificent! The restaurants are excellent, as is the service. The chefs are some of the finest we have ever experienced! I was celebrating my 60th birthday during our stay and everyone at the One & Only made it an unforgettable day! We have already booked another trip in April for our anniversary. We have made friends for life! There is no resort that can begin to compare to the One & Only! We thank the entire staff for such a heartfelt wonderful vacation. If you are looking for a resort that the pampers every need then this is the spot. Often it appears that there is more staff than guests. The resort has an adult pool which usually turns into quite the party by sun down and a family pool that is a peaceful oasis. Due to the price of the hotel, few children visit and when they do they are well behaved. If you are looking to let loose Cabo is 25 minutes away. If you want a taste of Mexico, San Jose is 12 minutes away and has developed some fine restaurants at real world prices. At the resort there is a superb golf course and beautiful beaches. The only draw back is that the only dining options at the resort are high priced and of the highest quality ($21 for a Spicy Tuna Roll doesn't even happen at Matsuhisa).
In short, I plan on going back every year! It is the perfect place for a much needed break with someone you love!

My husband and I love Cabo and have visited a couple of times. We decided to stay at the One&Only for his birthday, as we've heard nothing but rave reviews. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. In fact, we felt like VIPs. There's something to be said about a resort that is gracious and courteous to all its guests, including newcomers, and the staff actually knows your name.

Prior to our arrival I was in contact with Alejandro Flores, Chief Concierge, who helped coordinate a private dinner on the beach for my husband's bday. Alejandro also arranged for festive decorations and birthday cake after our couples massage and a beautiful, romantic rose petal surprise in our bedroom after my hubby's surprise bday dinner. Knowing how happy my husband was made the experience ten times better.

The resort itself is incredible. The infinity pools, spa, secluded beach, restaurants, and amenities are top notch. Definitely a resort where you will feel special and can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation. I love the choice of music the staff selected whenever we returned to the room.

Quick tip- the family pool is often less crowded than the adults only pool.

If you dine at the following restaurants on the resort, I highly recommend the following:

Agua: Paella & shrimp salad. Request moonlight table for romantic experience. Or reserve a Dining on Under the Stars private beach dinner with wine pairing.
Agua Bar: Do a shot of the Sangrita. Just the right kinda spicy. Oh yeah!
Suviche: Sashimi salad. It's incredible!
Breezes or Pool Bar: Fresh scallops with lime marinade & shrimp tostada
Market: 7-course tasting with wine pairing. Scrambled egg with caviar was one of the most creative and tastiest things I've ever eaten. Everything was delicious!

We stayed at this resort a few years ago. It was so incredible that it has become the benchmark by which we measure all other resorts. I can tell you that no other resort has even come close. This resort is superb. The property, the impeccable service, the food, even the beautiful way they light those orbs all over the property at night, all add up to a magical experience. We cannot wait to go back. Do whatever you have to do to stay there!
