We just came back from a wonderful week at this resort. We had an ocean view lanai room in building 7 and it was fantastic. We watched the sun rise and the sunset every day .We loved the low key vibe and the positive nature of the staff. We enjoyed the bike ride with Kevan- a tip- he takes the guests on Saturday to the Organic market in San Jose. We walked into town via the estuary, released baby turtles into the ocean, walked to the new marina and had a drink at the Container restaurant, took the bus into Cabo St. Lucas and took a glass bottom boat to the arch and walked to the Mega. We went into town for dinner twice- eating a the Maison del Angel, and Salsita's-both were very good. Food at the resort- Breakfast- very good, lunch -good,snacks-good-remember you can always get frest guacamole and salsa and fish tacos, dinner welllll...not so good.I'm not sure why it fell apart at dinner- the satff were good and the atmosphere good too but strange and limited food choices. The drinks were generally quite good- no top shelf liquors for after dinner but hey get a bottle for your room at the Mega. Overall the value this resort gives is probably unbeatable. Activity staff were hard working and security was always on the beach-you won't get time-share hassled here.
