“Average meal, above average prices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

My husband and I had dinner at Agua the first night at the resort. The atmosphere and service is wonderful, but the food itself was average. We did enjoy the appetizers, tuna tartar and the lobster salad, however the main course was alright. My husband felt his steak had way to much sauce on it. If it's a good piece of meat, it should be able to stand on it's own, not be covered with sauce. I had the Sea Bass which was slightly overcooked and a bit bland. The wine was good, but like most resorts overpriced. We skipped dessert, they did give us a Happy Anniversary chocolate plate which was very nice. Also they personalized the menu to reflect our anniversary which was a nice touch. However for $500+ for the two of us, the food did not satisfy us.

“OMG!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

WOW!!!!! We were blown away by the beauty of this restaurant! It's location is outstanding, the grounds were magnificent and the food and service were impeccable! Although we were seated indoors, our table was the corner table that overlooked the water and had sliding glass doors and we were quite pleased! And the beautiful stained glass bar is a magnificent piece of art!!!!

Certainly not an inexpensive meal by any means but we knew that going in. We will, without a doubt, return to Agua again next year!!

“Getting what u pay for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

Cabo is certainly not for the budget traveller depending on the circles you move in. Agua is a breakfast dinner destination. Limited Mexican fair for dinner. Best tortilla soup we had. Great view but extremely expensive for what is being served. A better variety would be nicer. After all I am in Mexico, a more innovative Mexican fair would at least give us some sense of value that we are paying such high prices for. I think you will fair better elsewhere - so stop for a drink and move on

“Love Agua!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Agua and Agua Bar are my home-away-from-home in Cabo! The atmosphere is outstanding, service is the BEST, and the food delicious!! This time, we sat at a table right on the water. It doesn't get any better!
