“Super funny, enjoyable and interesting!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2011

Every minute there is something to see, listen or drink!. The transportation 4*4 off road Unimog make it different, all the knowledge that our Tequila and Expert Polo (our guide) shared with us make this excurtion really interesting and funny! . The beautiful view we enjoyed while we were riding the camel was amazing and relaxing after the delicious green tea we drank there. The food with the fresh hand made corn Tortilla... Delicious!

“Great guide, good information, terrific food and lots to drink!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2011

David was our guid for the desert tour. He had a lot of great information to share, an incredible sense of humor, and really loves his job. The camel ride on the beach was something we had bee unsure about, but were glad we did it. The camel rambler had been a guide for National Geographic and had fascinating stories to share. The homemade tortillas, mol'e,Mexican rice, prickly pear salad, etc. Were delicious. Learned a lot about tequila and mescal and had tastings. Generous portions at lunch and drinking on the 4x4 all the way back to our hotel. Highly recommend Cabo Adventures.

“DS tour was fun, educational, light-hearted and had delicious authentic lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2011

David, our tour guide, made the trip exceptionally enjoyable. He was able to explain the desert flora and fauna without making it boring thru his stories and jokes! There was continental breakfast included (bread, fruits, cereals, milk, juice which started the day right. We were able to touch a newborn sea turtle (unplanned) and taught us the right way to handle the baby sea turtle so that they do not get harmed by the hands' sweat or oil. Demonstrated tortilla making and some history/origin of tequilla and Mezcat. Of course the tequila tasting was great and fun! Authentic and delicious Mexican lunch with Mexican drinks (tamarind juice) was exotic. On top of that, we were able to see whales along the shore. This is a MUST experience tour in Cabo San Lucas!!! Worth your time!!!

“Great guides, amazing scenery, incredible lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2010

How to sum this up....
We've taken this half day trip twice over 3 years, had the same guide both times. Jose Louis I believe, preferred to be called 'Chicas'. Lots of fun both times, very knowledgeable and personable. Besides the history and talk about the desert (arid tropical forest), while driving in the Mercedes Uni-mogs, he fills the time with good conversation about his culture and the regional history. Tequila tasting and learning about it was fun also.
The lunch both times way out in the desert was awesome with plenty of it, not just a taste to get you hungry. The first time we watched how to make tortillas, this time we made our own then filled them up with prickly pear cactus and other goodies for one of the best tacos I've ever had.
This is a great excursion and well worth the time.
