“What a beautiful place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

First big props to Paul Lopez our main man, bell man, all around good guy. Find Paul and he will make your life easy. This was our first time to Cabo. What a beautiful area. We had seamless golf tee time made by the concierge and played Cabo Del Sol, which is right next door. Drinks were easy to get. Food service was very slow. We didn't care for the upscale meals. Just not the right mix of flavors for us. The simpler meals were fine. We did the all inclusive which was the way to go. Otherwise the food would have been considered to be expensive for the quality of the food.

We had booked a two bedroom but found out it was actually two one bedroom units interconnected. The room was beautiful however but didn't have a separated living space from the bedroom.

The grounds are immaculate and very beautiful. We could see whales from the beach area. There really was not a beach per se. It is on a rocky bluff but the views really were wonderful.

We just spent our 4th anniversary here and had an amazing time. The all inclusive plan is the way to go! Great food and cocktails to choose from. Definitely check out the infinity pool and free horseback riding. The welcome drinks every time you arrive or leave the property are a nice bonus! Also the staff was very kind, in particular Paul the bell boy was extremely thoughtful and friendly!

Room Tip: The walls are a bit thin. Requesting a higher level floor would be a good idea.

Room Tip: we stay in 2 studio, they were connected,we have 3 kids, the rooms are top of the line furnished, the s...

Excellent resort. First the rooms are very clean, the furniture is excellent, the views are spectacular, the cleaning service is wonderful. The resort has four restaurants two by the pool areas, one casual but very good food and great service, and another more formal with excellent gourmet cuisine. We went all inclusive and we usually don't like to do that due low quality food and watered down drinks .However, in this case we did the right thing as the food was excellent and the drinks were great and the restaurants were upscale. . The entire resort was very clean and the service was awesome. I would defiantly recommend this to everyone and will defiantly be back soon.

Room Tip: We upgraded to the Jr. Suite and it was worth it.

I'm gonna be fair; the place is pretty stunning, the food is great and the service is nice, but if you're going all-inclusive and you don't give tips (they're included), watch out because one of the waiters faked my handwriting and added himself a tip (a pretty disgusting action).
Don't expect to get a good room, they're developing a timeshare and they'll give the good ones to whoever they think will buy... if you accept to go to a presentation, you'll go through a 4 hour intensive sales session; the salesmen are either terrible or aggressive idiots. Why would I commit myself to a 30 year contract with a half-developed timeshare? The place is gorgeous now, but the building quality is terrible (not a single shower door closes properly, and the whirlpools are dirty already). Also, some salesmen are just pricks and will try to trick you with extras and time-pressure, but don't fall for it, the numbers don't sum up! Also, the Spa is ridiculously small and the turkish bath only fits one person (way to go, romantic getaway!)
Something amazing? The infinity pool at sunset with a mojito in your hand... it's very romantic.

Room Tip: Pretend you're willing to buy a timeshare...

This place is absolutely amazing! After booking this hotel and reading some of the reviews, I have to admit I was a little nervous. The negative reviewers couldn't have been any more wrong! This was our first all inclusive vacation and we were really satisfied with the experience. Our room was awesome (and we didn't even have an ocean view), it was super clean and spacious. The food was delicious! The service was impeccable! The pools, the views, the cleanliness, everything was awesome, we didn't have one complaint. Alexis, Ana, and Asuzenza, the servers down at the pool, are the best! They took care of us all day, every day! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Rooms are great, even without an ocean view

Visited Cabo san Lucas in August 2012 with my husband for our honeymoon. We stayed at Hacienda Encantada and absolutely loved it! We felt pampered the entire time. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious. Rooms with a view are reserved for timeshare owners, but you have an amazing view while relaxing by the pool. Not sure about the food since we did not go with the all inclusive option, but the snacks at the pool bar were yummy and very reasonably priced! I recommend Hacienda Encantada to anyone!
